Story
Ava is the first to climb into your lap — and just in case you forget who allowed that privilege, she may gently nibble your chin as a reminder that she runs this relationship. The smallest of her litter, Ava came in at just 9 pounds at 10 weeks old — a precious, petite little powerhouse with the scrappy determination of a youngest child who refuses to be left out of anything. Small? Yes. Delicate? Absolutely not. She’s active, playful, and fully convinced she belongs in the middle of whatever is happening. She adores people, loves other dogs, and thrives on interaction. Whether she’s wrestling with a dog buddy or claiming her spot on your lap, Ava brings bold charm and main-character energy. As she grows, a fenced yard would be wonderful so she can romp and burn off that joyful puppy spirit. Like any baby, she’s still polishing her housetraining and basic manners — but she’s bright, eager, and ready to learn with consistency and love. She may be petite. But she is not subtle. The Ava Breakdown Breed Mix: Lab mix with something smaller sprinkled in Intake Size: Was 9 lbs at 10 weeks old (petite but mighty) Energy Level: Active & Playful Dog Compatibility: Loves other dogs and thrives with playmates Kid Compatibility: Likely great with respectful, dog-savvy kids Cat Compatibility: Not tested Housetraining: In progress and learning quickly Training: Puppy basics underway — bright and eager Favorite Hobby: Climbing into laps and wrestling bigger dogs Signature Move: Gentle chin nibbles to assert executive authority Overall Vibe: Tiny CEO with cuddle credentials The Ideal Furever Home Ava would thrive in a home that enjoys interaction, play, and a little daily dose of personality. She would absolutely love another playful dog to wrestle with and learn from — a confident canine buddy who can keep up with her petite-but-mighty energy. A fenced yard would be wonderful so she can safely romp and burn off zoomies, though more important than the fence is a family committed to engaging with her. Ava is not a “background dog” — she wants to be involved, included, and occasionally in your lap. Because she’s smart and confident, she’ll do best in a home that values positive reinforcement and consistency. With structure and encouragement, she’ll grow into a bold, well-mannered companion who brings joy and laughter daily. She’d likely do well with respectful, dog-savvy kids and an active household that appreciates a little playful chaos wrapped in a very small package. Her perfect furever home? One that understands small dogs can have very big personalities — and loves her for it. Three Must-Knows About Ava She’s a confident, cuddly lap-climber with a surprisingly mighty personality. She’s incredibly social and thrives around both dogs and humans. She’s still very much a puppy, so potty training and manners are a work in progress. Ava is a female Yellow Lab/mix pup who was was born approximately 12-19-25. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on heartworm prevention. Story
Liberty is a three month old sweetheart who will take up permanent residence in your brain the same way the “Liberty, liberty, libertyyyy” jingle does. She is unexpected, unforgettable, and impossible to ignore. Once you meet her, you’ll find yourself thinking about her constantly, because her cuteness and affection are genuinely hard to shake. She is a cuddly, people loving puppy who wants to be as close to her humans as physically possible and will happily soak up pets, snuggles, being held, and naps in cozy dog beds. She’s playful and loves to run around the yard with other dogs. Liberty is big dog friendly, small dog friendly, cat friendly (when briefly tested with cats), and has a naturally submissive, gentle personality that helps her fit right in as she warms up to a home. She truly seems happiest when she has company, human or canine. With all the big changes she’s experienced recently, she is vocally protesting being left alone and may bark or whine in her kennel if she can hear or see you while kenneled. Because of this she would do best in a home, not apartment. She’s also still working on potty training, but she is already improving with consistency, routine, and patience. She is food motivated so kennel training with her food or a treat has been a breeze. Liberty is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She has received her DAPP vaccine, rabies vaccine, kennel cough vaccine, flea and tick prevention, is on heartworm prevention, microchipped, and spayed. She is still learning leash skills and basic house manners and will thrive in a home willing to continue her training with understanding and love. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate Velcro puppy who will stick with you through every room of the house, Liberty may be the perfect match.
