Story
HONDA & HOBBS are father and son pups who were rescued together several years ago and have been with the same foster since, together. Hobbs is the lighter one and is a senior estimated about 12 years old - Honda is black and tan and is estimated 6. Both are fully vetted and good with other dogs and cats, and both LOVE people. Hobbs is blind but gets along well, and Honda is still seeing okay but looks to have a similar eye issue as his father which may result in issues down the road. Their foster was ready to keep them for life if need be, as they have to be adopted together and are extremely bonded, but her health took a turn for the worse and she is no longer able to foster for us. They're with a generous foster who is able to take on two more dogs for a short period of time, but we really need to find them a new foster, or better yet, someone potentially interested in a foster to adopt. Both ar medium mixes but look to be retriever beagle type by appearance. Their foster reports both are super sweet and love to be right BY their person touching if possible. Both are gentle walkers and good with other dogs, cats, and kids. 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. Adoption also includes lifetime support of the rescue. 💜 Please click PURPLE BUTTON above to apply! ✍ APPLICATION PROCESSING: We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. 📌 IMPORTANT NOTES: ** Housetraining with rescues is sometimes a work in progress and even if a dog is 100% in a foster's home, it should be expected there will be an adjustment period as a dog adapts to a new environment. This is even more true if the dog has not by chance had their altering appointment at time of adoption. ** Also, we highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. --> Lastly, breed guesses in rescue are just that (GUESSES!!) 99.9% of the time. We do not do DNA testing and our breed guesses are based on appearance and sometimes other traits, but we know the dog breed guessing game is a fool's errand even for those with LOTS of experience. 🗺ADOPTION AREA: Several hour radius of Rochester, NY (Canada within 3hrs IS allowed), except the young puppies need to be old enough to have gotten their rabies vaccination in order to cross the border- usually around 16 weeks).

Story
Jade is a 1-year-old Lab mix weighing about 40 pounds. She’s friendly, gentle, and well-mannered. She's great on leash, housetrained, and crate trained. Jade loves kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her an easy fit for almost any family. She was sadly abandoned on a rural road along with her brother, Dobie, but she’s proven to be resilient and full of love. Jade is ready to leave her past behind and start a new life with a family who will cherish her forever. We can drive this pup to your area!
