Baxter is a total doll. He and his sibling were dumped at our rescue...they are social and so sweet. Baxter is all puppy but he is ready to have you teach him how to be the best boy he can be. He is crate, and potty trained. His life took a little turn at Christmas time when he was stepped on by a cow (yes his fosters have cows :), he had a tail and pelvic injury that required his tail to be amputated and he had to recover. WELL he HAS recovered :) He still has nerve damage in the back leg ..he uses it occasionally but at times doesn't...this does not slow him down...his foster mom, Jodi can share more about this gorgeous boy!!!! He is ready for his furever home and boy will you LOVE this boy!! While he was recovering from his injuries he became the bestest pup you could imagine! Now he is looking for that forever home that will just love him for who he is!! ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY PUPS LIKE BAXTER's LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!! Malia The day I met Malia, on the beach in Puerto Rico, she hopped into my open car door, she got into the car and didn't want to get out! She was determined to be rescued! She was living and surviving with a group of dogs that had obviously been abandoned there. Malia is a good and social dog. She likes affection and to be petted and loved on. She is a dog that would love active people, and who would give her the exercise and daily walks she needs. She has a lot of fun energy and would do great with kids who would play with her or she would love a jogging partner! She loves to play with the water from the hose, Love toys and to chase balls. She is about 2 years old and 45 pounds! Malia completed a training program with a veterinarian in Puerto Rico and did very, very well. He said that she is super smart and knows basic obedience. She will arrive in Albion, NY in early September and we would love to have a family waiting to meet her! Doki is a funny little character! He started off with a rough beginning, living on the streets with his mother Ruby(another MAD rescue), and his three siblings. When the family was rescued two of his siblings had been killed by cars. Doki and his little family were taken into rescue and little Doki was fitted with some casts to straighten his front legs that seemed to be growing crooked(most likely form starvation and malnutrition). In two weeks he was a new man and his legs looked great! He is perfectly fine and has no lingering effects! He is now a happy, funny and silly boy who loves scooting through wet grass, hopping over his friends and playing. He is cuddly and affectionate. Doki is about 14 pounds at 5 months old and we don't expect him to be much bigger than 30 pounds. We do have pictures of his mama. Doki will arrive in Albion, NY at the beginning of September and we would love to have a family waiting to meet him!
