Meet Jessie, a 72-pound bundle of beauty and bounce estimated to be around 6 years old. With her stunning gray coat and expressive personality, she turns heads without even trying. Jessie can be vocal when she wants something, especially if that something is your attention. She loves scratches from her favorite people and will lean her whole body into you, as if trying to get just a little closer. She walks well on leash and truly enjoys being near her humans. Though she was initially timid when she arrived, she quickly learned that kindness is consistent here. Watching her confidence grow has been such a bright spot. Jessie is affectionate, engaging, and ready to pour all that love into a family of her own.

Meet Cosmo This adorable guy has the spunk and spirit of a typical pup. His mom was unfortunately run over and he had to have a little help being bottle fed until able to eat on his own. You would not know it by looking at him or in his glowing personality. Cosmo is always up for a romp during playtime. He is also one of the sweetest snugglers. Cosmo has grown to adoption age in the same wonderful household and his foster mom would love to give you all the details on his daily life. Story
  Hi everyone, I'm Bear!   I'm a big goofy boy who lives for playing fetch, getting pets, and being near my people.  I'm 2 years old, and am a golden retriever rottweiler mix. When I meet you, I will lean into your legs to get more pets, then sink to the floor in hopes of getting belly rubs. At just over 100lbs, I lean in hard, so get ready! I was professionally trained when I was a puppy, and even though I'm a little rusty on some of my skills, I still know the commands: sit, down, kennel, leave it, with me, and heel. My foster mom says I'm a perfect gentleman when we go on walks and hardly pull at all.  I grew up in a house with kids and other dogs so I am house-trained and the only reason I'm looking for a new home is because my first family had allergies and they got too busy to take care of me. I do love playing with the dogs I live with now, and even though I'm big, I'm submissive. I often let the little beagle win in tug of war. I've never lived with a cat, but I just ignored the cat I met at the vet, so I'll likely be fine with them. I'm good when getting baths, good at the vet, calm on car rides, and good at taking pills when you wrap them in meat or cheese.    Even though I like kids, I don't know my own size and could knock over the younger ones so I'd probably be better in a house with kids that are a bit older, like 7 or 8.    If you like big dogs, have the time to help me get the exercise I need, and can provide me with lots of chew bones, I might be your perfect next pet! You'll need to keep your trash cans covered and teach me to not eat food off the table, but I'm worth it. :)   Check out my instagram at @AdoptBearDog to see videos and even more pictures! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 15, 2026, 10:49 pm

Meet Boomer -- a 1.5 year old Doodle weighing around 41 pounds! Boomer ended up in the Shelter. He was escaping the yard (not fenced) and was heading to a nearby gas station where he was given snacks.    So this snacking Doodle will require a fenced in yard. Standard fencing please. No 4ft Boomer will require grooming  to keep him looking handsome. Foster mom guessing 4 times a year. Boomer is good with other dogs, cats and older kids. He's a little jumpy, but his foster mom is working with him.  Boomer isn't a fan of the crate.  His foster mom has been leaving him out at bed time and he's fine also .He's ok to be left out during the day while she runs errands also.  Boomer is down for cuddles and belly rubs. Boomer is housetrained. He's learning his routine and follows a Lab named Charlie who's showing Boomer the ropes. Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start March 8, 2026, 11:18 pm
