Story
Hi, I’m Mars! I am a friendly boy and I like to be your little shadow. I am a quick learner and doing well on leash walking and potty training. I learned a few tricks like sit, touch, and down. I am working on crate training and meeting new animals because sometimes I bork bork at them, but I am learning to be calm around new friends. I am living with dogs of all sizes and ages and learning how to be a respectable young man. I have a big ol’ head but it’s more rectangular (not rounded like a pittie). I would probably do well in a home with other dogs who tolerate puppies, and any humans including kids. I haven’t met a cat yet- bet I will bork at them at first and then probably be fine. I hope to meet my new family soon! More info about Mars: DOB: 2/7/26 estimated Weight: 26 lbs, puppy weight calculator says he should mature around 90 Breed: mom was a lab or lab mix (photos at end), dad is unknown but maybe a hound/husky mix (his brother, Snickers, has a blue eye and they will have medium length fur).   Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 19, 2026, 8:42 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Snickers! I’m a Labrador/Husky/Hound mix pup. I was born this February and am already 26lbs! I am estimated to be a very big boy (maybe even 90lbs according to the predicted dog weight calculator).  I’m in the process of learning all the puppy basics like house and crate training. I already know sit and down My new adopters will need to keep up my training so I grow up to be a confident and happy dog! P.S. I love treats, so those will definitely help me learn!  I can be chill but I am a puppy, after all! My favorite thing is belly rubs and pets! I howl/bark when seeing other dogs but it’s because I want to play with them!  A Good Samaritan saved us after learning my siblings and I were going to be abandoned. A few people chipped in to get us fixed! My brother, Mars, is available for adoption with PAWS! Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 19, 2026, 8:42 pm

Story
Gus is a loving, affectionate 7-year-old Lab Pit mix who weighs 58lbs. This handsome boy shines when he feels safe. He’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, curling up for cozy cuddles on the couch or bed. Gus loves playing with stuffed animals — carrying them, squeaking them, and enjoying tug or fetch. He attended a board and training facility and knows excellent manners: “place,” sit, lay down, shake, and even give hugs on command. At 7, he has a calm, loving adult personality with playful moments.Important notes:•  Single-dog home only — Gus resource guards and doesn’t always get along with other dogs.•  Afraid of men; takes time to warm up (best with patient, slow introductions; women as primary caregiver ideal).•  Scared of the vet but always praised for being good and patient.Gus is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, house-trained, and loves Greenie toothbrushes. He’ll thrive with someone experienced with shy dogs who can give him time to trust and blossom. He has so much love to give!

Story
Hi everyone! I’m Azula I may not breathe blue fire like my Airbender namesake, but I do have a special power—my loving blue gaze that will absolutely melt your heart (just ask my foster mom!). I’m a 40 pound, 1-year-old Lab/Husky mix with a playful spirit and a big, affectionate heart. I love being around my people and will happily stick close by for pets, cuddles, and attention. I didn’t get nearly enough attention in the shelter after i was abandoned, so I’m soaking it all up now.  I also get along great with other dogs and enjoy having playmates! Kids? I like them too! I can get a little excited when meeting new friends and might jump up at first, so I’d do best with slightly older kiddos or a family who can help me practice polite greetings. Fetch, tug, and chase are all top-tier games in my book. But if I’m being honest… treats are everything. I love them, which makes me a fast learner! In just the first week in my foster home, I learned Sit, Crate, Shake, and Touch—and I’m excited to keep learning more. I walk nicely on a leash and settle down quietly in my crate—pretty impressive, right? I’m still working on a few things: I’m not a big fan of car rides or baths, but I handle them like a champ when needed.  I like cats a little too much, so a cat-free home would be best for me. Want to see more of me in action? Check out my Instagram @AdoptAzula for videos, updates, and all my latest tricks. If you think I could be your next perfect pet, please apply to adopt me!     Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 19, 2026, 8:42 pm

Story
Lily is a sweet, loving, and active dog who brings a lot of joy and personality with her. I am looking for a new home for her because I have to move to different state for work, and the place I am going will not be suitable for her. Lily loves to play, especially tug of war, and she also enjoys cuddling up close when she feels safe and comfortable. She can be a little scared of rain and thunder, so she does best with someone who can be patient and comforting during storms and loud noises. She is affectionate, a little needy in the sweetest way, and loves being close to her person. I am hoping to find her a caring, stable home where she will get plenty of love, attention, and playtime.

Story
💙 This handsome boy is Cash and he is looking for his very own family. He’s a 2-3 year old Mixed Breed. Our vet's best guess was that he looked like a labrador retriever with Australian shepherd, maybe!Cash was found out in a field in Circleville, OH - home to the Pumpkin Show. 🎃🎃🎃🧡Cash has some basic obedience training, he is a very smart boy and picks up on things quickly. He loves his couch time with his favorite snake toy, and belly rubs.  He is house trained & will tell you when he needs to potty. Cash is great with people and dogs. He has never been around a cat so he would need a slow introduction. His foster family says he has been a joy to have around. He would do best with kids a little older because your space is his space and he could knock over little ones.Cash would do best with another dog for security.  He can be anxious without another dog.  He would do best in a low traffic home with few strangers. Strangers tend to make him anxious. you can apply to foster or adopt Cash at ricopetrecovery.org
