Story
Name: Daisy Age: 6 years Breed: Labrador Retriever Size: 99 lbs Special Needs: Heartworm positive Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 Contact: transport@hssm.org Our Daisy girl is a 6 year old senior Labrador/Retriever mix who recently came into our care after her owners we no longer able to keep her due to moving. She is an old girl who loves to go on walks outdoors and soak up the sun. She has been in a home for many years and is potty trained, spayed, knows how to sit, and is kid friendly. She has also been on WLOX News as our Pepsi pet of the week. Her adoption fee is sponsored. She tested postivie for heartworm, but don't let that turn you away from giving this sweet girl a happy and healthy rest of her life. This senior girl would love a family who will assist her with weight loss, as she is 100lbs of love. She is currently on a diet and will need to continue to prevent issues as she ages. Are you a fan of senior dogs? Ask about Daisy today! Daisy's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports! --> If you are interested in adopting Daisy please fill out our online application here: (https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 - Dog). A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. For further information, please first fill out the application referenced above. **Due to import regulations we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
