Story
Welcome Bisque! Bisque came to us from the Humane Society of the White Mountains, where he quietly waited as all his siblings found their forever homes one by one. 😸 Bisque had a positive cat introduction and is likely cat-friendly 🐶 He's also shown dog-social behavior, making him a likely fit for homes with other canine companion. We're so excited to watch Bisque blossom in our care and find a patient, loving home where he can truly shine. 🌟

Story
Meet Max! This 1.5-old Labrador/English Foxhound mix is as sweet as he is handsome—with big floppy ears, a heart full of love, and a tail that never stops wagging. Max is a playful goofball who’s always up for an adventure—whether it’s chasing a ball, going for a stroll around the neighborhood, or sniffing out new trails. He’s got energy to spare and a true zest for life! But don’t let his sporty side fool you—Max is also a major snuggler. After a day of fun, he loves curling up next to his humans for some serious cuddle time. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s part of the action, especially with kids. Max is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He’s crate trained, knows some basic commands, and with a little continued guidance, he’s well on his way to becoming the perfect pup. He needs a home with a yard to run in and someone who can keep up with his playful spirit and return all the love he so freely gives. Ready to meet this lovable goof? Contact Paula at SPWHEEELS1@GMAIL.COM —Max can’t wait to meet his forever family!

Story
Meet Freddie, a five-year-old, 56-pound Beagle mix with the classic coloring and sturdy build of a Beagle, but the frame of a larger breed. Freddie is looking for a special, understanding forever home after a couple of mismatched adoptions. While he's sweet and loving with his people, Freddie is dog-reactive and should be the only pet in the household. He isn’t suited for dog parks or social outings involving other pets and would thrive in a calm environment with a predictable routine. Freddie can also be protective on the leash and would do best in a quieter neighborhood or with access to peaceful walking areas. Despite these sensitivities, he is a low-key companion who prefers the simple pleasure of being near his person over high-energy play. Freddie doesn’t ask for much—just a little space, some quiet, and someone willing to accept his boundaries and give him love. Freddie’s $250adoption fee includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness exam at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Ready to meet this gentle soul? Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Freddie by calling 602-971-1334. You can also visit us Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm when we are open for walk-ins.

Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Ivana, 631-681-0320, ivana.s.aigle@gmail.com:   MEET BODIE BOIGUE!! Bodie (or Boy) is a devoted "Velcro" dog who thrives on companionship and a calm routine. His world revolves around his home and his people. He is intelligent and wants to please, but his brain occasionally "misfires" due to his seizures. Bodie is on a strict medication schedule and must be maintained to prevent breakthrough episodes. This includes: Gabapentin, Sertraline and Keppra. His seizures are infrequent. However, the post-seizure phase involves significant disorientation. Bodie requires a strong handler who can remain physically steady and calm if he becomes disoriented or has a bad anxiety attack.  Bodie needs a quiet, low-traffic home to keep his neurological system at baseline. He needs someone who understands that his "unpredictability" is medical, and not just behavioral, and can provide a "safe landing" during his episodes where his medical needs can be managed without putting his owner at risk. In a physically capable, quiet environment, he will be a deeply loyal and loving partner. His owner is physically unable to care for him in the manner required and is heartbroken to part with him. Meet Bodie today!
