Story
Sabrina’s Story:  Neighbors watched Sabrina and worried about her. She was sitting patiently in the driveway waiting for her people to come home. But the neighbors knew that the people had moved away and left Sabrina behind and so they reached out to us. As if that wasn't bad enough, Sabrina wasn't moving properly, and when we took her to see our vet, we found out that she had multiple  fractures of her pelvis! Today Sabrina is doing very well in her foster home. She has been on a program of careful rest and monitored activities and her fractures are healing well. She still has a way to go, but would like to complete her rehab in a home of her own. Help A Dog Smile will continue to cover all necessary medical expenses at her current vet practice. Sabrina has beautiful manners, she is house trained using a doggie door, possibly without one as well. She eats her food nicely and gets along great with the other foster dogs. She is leash trained and enjoys a quiet walk, but is terrified of traffic. It's possible that her pelvis was fractured due to being hit by a car. Sabrina would do well in almost any home. She attaches herself quickly to her humans and is very gentle and undemanding. She has not been around cats or small children but would probably do well. It's important for her continued healing that she not jump or play hard. She is happy to spend her day lying at your feet or curled up in her bed  Sabrina is estimated to be 5-6 years old, and is looking forward to meeting you. Adoption Requirements : Sabrina’s adoption fee is $350. If you think Sabrina is the dog for you please review the following adoption requirements.   Must live in the Phoenix metro area Must have a securely fenced yard Must be willing to work with Help A Dog Smile Rescue on Sabrina’s rehabilitation from a fractured pelvis.  Help A Dog Smile will continue to cover all necessary medical expenses from the fracture at her current vet practice. Lacie is a sweet playful pup. She is very much still a puppy. She is silly and full of love and affection. She does like to cuddle after she has gotten rid of all of her energy. She loves to play fetch and will even return the items to play again. She is not house trained yet, but she is crate trained. She will need someone to teach her the ropes of being a great dog. She was not in a safe environment before finding a safe space. Please meet this sweet girl, Lacie! Maybel loves a good lap and likes to go for walks. She is very smart and loving to her people. She knows how to sit, shake, wait and place. She loves treats and was trained using treats. She likes a calm place without loud noised and negative enforcement. She will bark at strangers. Maybel needs to be the only dog in the home. She has attacked the dogs in the home if not leashed. Typically she gets along with calm dogs, but she does not do well with high energy dogs. She is currently on trazadone twice a day, but she can still be aggressive towards them. She is a great dog for a person or family where she is the one and only to get all of the love and attention. Meet Maybel! MEET  RALPHIE!!! aka Ralph Lauren, because I am one stylish pup!!  This sweet boy is only 3 years old, and is good with other Dogs, Kids, Cats, and all people! He is friendly, outgoing, and loves to play. But cuddling on the couch is also just his speed. He's already house broken and kennel trained. We do think that this sweet boy should be adopted into a home with another dog, as he would love to have a buddy to roll around on the floor with!  Ralphie is a great car rider and excellent at riding co-pilot!
