Meet Willy! Willy is a bright and lovable pup who came to us to work on his reactivity toward men and to improve his overall obedience. While he was initially unsure and reactive in certain situations, Willy has made impressive progress through consistent training, structure, and positive reinforcement. With time and trust, Willy has shown his sweet and eager-to-please nature. He's learned to stay calm in new environments, respond to commands reliably, and build confidence around the people who once made him nervous. Willy is a great example of how patience, guidance, and the right support can help a dog grow into their best self. We're so proud of how far he's come!   ##2499010##

***Ben must have a dog experienced owner. He would do best in an all female household. Ben is a Lab and might be mixed with some Foxhound. This boy is tall and lean, and approximately 60 pounds and 9 years old. Ben hasn’t had the best of luck finding a home that matches his specific needs.  He’s a favorite of all our walkers who share how joyful he is when being leashed up for his walk!  Lots of gratitude and kisses! Furthermore, he is a dream on a leash.  Besides being seriously handsome, Ben is such a lover and responds positively to people who are genuinely knowledgeable about dog behavior, patient, and willing to give him time to acclimate to his new family and surroundings.  Though Ben can exhibit dominant behaviors, he truly prefers his humans to take the lead.  It is critical to be strong and consistent in your expectations, especially during the period of adjustment.  He gets along with other dogs, but due to his size would not be best with young children.  Please give our Ben a chance!
