Story
Clark is a handsome fella! This pup traveled all the way from Oklahoma to find a new home in Colorado, could you be the one to scoop him up out of the shelter? He is such a friendly boy but can be sensitive at times, so he will appreciate a guardian that helps him gain confidence around new people! Additionally, staying true to his country roots, he might appreciate a lower traffic or rural environment, rather than a busy urban setting. At this time, HSBV will only rehome Clark to a family without children or with children over the age of 10. Additionally, we are recommending a doggie meet-and-greet here at the shelter if entering a multi-dog home to help ensure it`s a good fit for everyone!

Story
Sweet Oden arrived at the shelter due to an owner neglect case and was severely underweight. He still has a few pounds to gain and is thriving with healthy food and treats. He is so happy to be in a home where he’s getting love, food, playmates and a safe soft place to sleep. Oden is an absolute GEM- if ever there was a foster fail candidate, it’s him! He does great with the other dog in his foster home and any other dog he encounters, great leash walker, great with crate training. Unlike most hound breeds, he is not a barker or howler. His foster mom has only heard him bark once since he’s been with them. Loves his people and foster sibling sooo much! Very gentle, sweet and mellow. No destructive behaviors and has really excellent manners in the house. Loves to play with other dogs! Also VERY smart and a GREAT listener, learned the dog door in one day by watching his foster brother. Working on more commands and has excellent recall. Treat motivated but very respectful when taking them. He LOVES to be cuddled and tries to be near his people a lot, but is also ok in his crate when they leave. Whoever adopts this dog will have hit the jackpot!!! ALL POSO DOGS COME WITH: - TWO FREE ONE ON ONE DOG TRAINING SESSIONS - UP TO DATE ON SHOTS - SPAYED/NEUTERED - BLOODWORK/TICK DISEASE TESTING - DEWORMED/FECAL TESTING - WELLNESS CHECKS - LEASH, COLLAR, FOOD TO GET STARTED, TREATS AND TOYS IF THEY LIKE THEM - FI COLLAR SUBSCRIPTION - COUPONS TO LOCAL PET STORES

Story
Meet Pongo, a delightful foxhound mix! He's a true 'Just Add Water' kind of dog – ready to fit right into your life with minimal fuss. This friendly fellow has the classic hound charm: a gentle spirit, a curious nose, and a soulful gaze. He enjoys a good leisurely stroll, a paced jog, and hikes of any variety. He’s an avid sunbather and also excels at digging dirt dens. Pongo’s got a sweet disposition and a knack for making friends, both human and canine but he LOVES cats, so much so that he really shouldn’t be in a home around them. (Unless your cats love to be chased approximately 24 hours a day.) Pongo’s so ready to find his forever person(s)- Just add love, and watch this guy bloom! Pongo is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Pongo is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He would do best in a home with no felines. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
