Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Fabio, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908- 9738 for more info.

Story
Our gorgeous girl, Dorothy is a happy, outgoing one year old American Foxhound with a sunny personality and a heart that’s ready to love.  Dorothy came to our Connecticut rescue after an adoption placement with another rescue sadly fell through. When a northbound transport was headed our way, Dorothy tagged along — and it turned out to be exactly where she was meant to be. Now she’s ready for her true forever home. At around 40 pounds, she’s that perfect medium size — sturdy enough for adventures, just right for snuggles. Dorothy is friendly, playful, and people-loving, and she truly adores human company — including kids! She’s the kind of dog who greets everyone like a long-lost friend and brings a joyful energy wherever she goes. With other dogs, Dorothy is a social butterfly. She happily solicits play, loves canine companionship, and would do great in a home with another dog or with plenty of opportunities to socialize. Playtime is her favorite pastime, and she approaches it with enthusiasm and good manners. Dorothy is looking for a home where she can be included, engaged, and loved — a place with people to adore, dogs to play with, and room to be her happy, houndy self. If you’re searching for a fun-loving companion with a bright spirit, Dorothy might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is not available for transport out of state. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
