Story
This is our sweet old soul Jessie. She was found as a pregnant stray. She came to us and had her babies who have all been adopted. When Jessie arrived, she had an eye that was very nasty. After seeing the eye specialist, we opted to have the eye removed to prevent more issues in the future. Her other eye has vision, but it is not very great. Once she learns her environment you’d never know she’s missing an eye/has bad vision in the other. She’s on two eye drops for life. Jessie’s age test came back as 8 years old. Jessie, like any hound breed, LOVES her food. She’s also become quite obsessed with walks and she’s super easy on the leash. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention. Puppies/dogs older than 3 months are on heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Luna! She’s a beautiful 1 year old bloodhound named after the beauty of the moon. She came to us because her family was ill and couldn’t continue to care for her, and she’s looking to a family who is going to give her a wonderful life full of love. Luna is around 70lbs, spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and in peak health. She’s also crate trained, house trained, and understands some basic commands. She’s friendly with dogs, people, and children. She hasn’t been tested with cats. She will come when called and she can walk on a lead. Luna is a young, high energy dog. Her former home didn’t provide her with enough physical or mental enrichment, so that manifested in a predictable way- digging, chewing, jumping on people. Luna would benefit from a home who will make sure that she is being adequately exercised both mentally and physically. Luna has a lot of love to give and we’d like to see her in a home where she’ll have time for her puppy brain to catch up to her body; a space where she’ll can perfect her manners and play until she’s exhausted. If you’re interested in Luna, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt

Story
Meet Beau, a handsome 6-year-old black and tan Bloodhound with a heart as big as his ears. Beau is a stoic dog and a guardian to those around him. Beau is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccines. He weighs in at around 98lbs, and he’s house-trained. He can be crated, but crating isn’t required as he’s not destructive and doesn’t have any separation anxiety. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and does great at the vet’s office. Beau really enjoys stuffies and squeaky toys and he LOVES the water. He enjoys going in the pool and splashing around. He loves the football too! He’s great in a car and enjoys a nice ride with the windows open and his ears flapping in the breeze. This guy wants to be your co-pilot. Bo has never been tested with cats, but he’s great with other dogs. He loves children and gets along wonderfully with women. We don’t know what happened in Bo’s past, but he is initially fearful of men. He will eventually warm up to them, but he is cautious at first. Beau would be fine in a home with or without other dogs, but he will require a fenced yard if he ends up in a house. His big need is for his new family to respect his boundaries and understand his needs. We want someone who gets that dogs who come through rescue aren’t perfect and that it takes him to decompress and trust. His foster has been great working with him on being able to trust men, and it’s going well. If this handsome hound has stolen your heart or you’d like to find out more about him - please fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt

Story
Meet Hunter. He’s a 6 month old, 70lb, bucket of puppy love! Hunter was originally set to be a foster-to-adopt, but now he’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. Hunter is good with both children and adults. He’s also good with all animals. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and will wait for a command before eating. His foster did a lot of obedience training with him, and he knows all the basic commands. Because he’s a hound, sometimes he will act like he doesn’t hear you. We’re not at all surprise about this. 😂 It should also be noted that Hunter is not at all aggressive, but he will pout and give a little attitude when he doesn’t get his way. Again, this is to be expected with a hound puppy. He’s good on a leash once he’s comfortable in his surroundings and all-in-all he’s a really spectacular dog. He does have one special need - he requires a TON of love. This guy is 70lbs of “I’m just a baby.” Hunter is going to require a home with a fenced in yard, as bloodhounds tend to wander. If left to their own devices, they’d follow their noise into the next county. He has lived with another dog before and did great, but having another dog is not an absolute requirement. He is a puppy, and he will need a life filled with adventure and enrichment, though. If Hunter sounds like the perfect dog for you, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt
