Story
Beau is ready to be adopted! He’s a 2 year old, 90lb bloodhound. He’s big, squishy, and beautiful. Beau has a lot of love to give, and needs someone who understands him. He’s a big love bug who wants to hang out, get his big ol noggin scratched, and his face rolls squished. He’s always down for a nap and he’s a great snuggler. He also has a strong sense of boundaries and grumbles to communicate if he's not in the mood to share his personal space. He would do best with other laid back, confident dogs that will respect him. He loves to run around outside and play chase with other dogs once he gets to know them. Enjoys a game of tug every now and then when he’s feeling froggy. He was tested with cats and didn’t do well, so a home without them is required. He is, however, great with children. Beau has learned leash manners, obedience, and he’s working on tolerant handling of his feet and ears. He is also house trained. He can be crated and kenneled, but does well with more space rather than less. Like all dogs who are a part of our rescue, Beau is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and he is also heartworm negative.
