💙 Hi, I’m Nassau 🐾💙
I’m Nassau, a 2-year-old Dachshund/Hound mix, and I’m a sweet, gentle boy who may need a little time to show you just how special I am. I’m playful, loving, nurturing, submissive, friendly, shy, and laid-back. I can be a little skittish at first, but once I feel safe and learn that I can trust you, my sweet personality really starts to shine. 🥰
Once I’m comfortable, I’m an absolute cuddle bug! I love relaxing with my people and would happily nap beside you all day if you let me. I’m a total couch potato and think being close to my person is one of the best things in the world. ❤️
I’m also incredibly well-behaved in the house and have great house manners. I’m crate trained and house trained, and I’m the kind of guy who is happy to settle in and enjoy a peaceful day with my family. I don’t know any commands just yet, but I’m learning and ready to keep working on them.
Because I’m a laid-back boy, I’d be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a quieter, relaxed lifestyle. I would do best with a small family where I can have plenty of time and attention to build my confidence and become comfortable in my new surroundings. 🐾
A backyard would be wonderful for me, too. I’d love having a safe place to wander around, enjoy some fresh air, and explore at my own pace before coming back inside for more couch time and cuddles.
I may take a little while to open up, but I promise that patience will be rewarded. Once I trust you, I’ll be the sweetest boy who just wants to give and receive all the love and kisses you’re willing to share. 💕

Adoption FEE: $400, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
