Lane is a 2-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a heart as big as her signature howl. True to her breed, she’s got an incredible nose and a love for adventure, always ready to follow a scent or enjoy a good walk where she can explore the world around her.
This beautiful girl is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being around her people. Lane has that classic hound personality—curious, expressive, and full of charm—balanced with a sweet, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. She’ll happily soak up attention after a day of sniffing and exploring.

Lane's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!

A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
