Our Tater is a 4 year old American Foxhound mix who is quite petite at 36 pounds. She came to CCR from a shelter in Arkansas where she had been found running as a skinny, scared stray. Tater has recovered nicely from her ordeal - her weight is healthy, and despite initial timidity in new situations, once she warms up to you she will be your friend forever! Tater is a gentle soul with a worried face - we can't wait until her worries are wiped away for once and for all! Tater is incredibly sweet but needs a slow intro so it's important that she finds a patient home. Because of her nervousness and past experiences, she'd do best in a home with no men or children. We think she'll enjoy a home that gives her a good mix of outside time and then snooze-on-the-couch time!
