Hi, I’m Estrella 💫 I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who truly loves being close to my people. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, I’m your girl. I’ll happily sit right next to you (or on you, if you let me!) and soak up all the love. I’m also very treat motivated and know basic commands, fetch. I can be nervous when meeting new people, so I’m looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give me the time and space I need to feel safe and build trust. Once I’m comfortable, my loving personality really shines. I’ll need a home without children under 10 and I would do best as the only pet. One important thing to know about me: I have been known to jump fences, so I’ll need close supervision anytime I’m outside to keep me safe. I’ve been waiting over 100 days for my forever home, which makes me a Featured Pet. My adoption fee is waived, I just need the right person to give me a chance. I’m also eligible for foster if you’d like to get to know me first. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to go at my pace, I might just be your perfect match. Story
Latte is a 9 year old treeing walker coonhound who is easygoing and friendly. She displays exemplary manners in and out of the home, having been house trained, she is well behaved indoors. Latte is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Contrary to the breed, she is quiet except when it storms, which is easily managed with preventative medication. Latte is a sweet natured lady with lots of love to give and is being given up through no fault of her own. Her owners have taken very good care of her, even getting a routine dental done for her. She is trained on basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, house) and knows when it's time to eat, walk, and sleep and seems to love her routine. This girl will thrive in the right home with structure and love. She is crate trained and loves her “house” She’s not much for playtime, but LOVES her walks and would do best in an environment where those are prioritized. She also loves gnawing on her bones. She is good with dogs, cats, kids, etc. But, as with any dog, she appreciates little ones that know how to act around dogs (not sneaking up behind her, etc.) If you'd like to meet this amazing girl, please contact Silver Linings Rescue!
