Basset Hound Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)

Male, 12 yrs 2 mos
Cloverdale, IN
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Louie, Louie ... what can we say about Louie. Louie turned12 years old on July 8, but one would never know it. He is full of life and love and is still extremely spry and outgoing. Louie loves his humans, especially those of the child variety. Louie spent his first 11 years as part of a loving family and was only surrendered to us because the family was unable to give him the time and attention that he deserves due to having a terminally ill child and spending days and weeks at the hospital. Louie has a bit of trouble meeting new dogs but after the first 5 minutes, he's fine with them. He's been around other dogs of all ages, sizes and shapes. He does have some issues in trying to play and learning different play styles but he seems to work that out as well. Louie is generally super chill and very sweet, but he does have some pretty severe separation anxiety. He would love a home where his humans are at the house with him most of the time. He does not require a lot of attention, he just wants to be where he can see his humans but doesn't need to be on top of them 24/7 either. Potential adopters should know though that he's a very clever, sneaky and creative food thief and will find every possible food item that is left out. If you are interested in giving this spry, distinguised, loving gentleman a home, please visit our website at to complete an adoption application. Louie's adoption fee is $75. He had a recent veterinary wellness check, received his annual vaccines and is up-to-date on HW and flea/tick prevention. He also is neutered and microchipped. ##1735185##

Beagle Boston Terrier

Male, 2 yrs 3 mos
Bloomington, IN
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Juke is an adorable medium sized dude who just loves to run and play in the yard. He likes squeaky toys the most and will happily chase them until he simply must roll in the grass to cool down. He knows how to sit for treats and is always hungry for snacks. Juke can be a bit nervous about meeting new people, so he would appreciate someone who can take it slow when it comes to things like petting. He does like a good booty scratch as much as the next guy, but he just wants to get to know you first!

Beagle Labrador Retriever

Male, 11 mos
Bloomington, IN
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Spayed or Neutered,
Apollo is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.I have Apollo who is a year old black lab and beagle mix that unfortunately I need to re-home. My daughters and I suffer from fibromyalgia and we are having a hard time with walking and bathing him. I have two grandchildren who he is great with. I have trained him to sit until you say eat when feeding him. He is crate trained and he does okay on the leash. He is still a little skittish at times but overall he is a good dog. He got bigger than expected so it his hard on us physically to deal with him. He deserves a family that is active and has enough room for him to run around. If anyone who has room for him and has a back yard that would be best. We will screen carefully before placing him in a new home.If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE CALL (321) 663-4935***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***
