Story
Meet Lana! 💕 Your future best friend’s best friend!
Lana is a sweet, playful girl who may take a little time to warm up to new people, but with a confident canine buddy by her side, she’s ready to let her fun-loving personality shine! She’s a dog-friend enthusiast who loves to run, chase, wrestle, and play with squeaky toys. Sometimes she even tosses her toys into the air herself because, hey, who says you need a playmate for every game?
A securely fenced yard is Lana’s happy place, where she can unleash her zoomies and enjoy the outdoors in her own safe space. She walks nicely on a leash but can be startled by traffic and sudden loud noises, which may cause her to bolt. Having a trusted dog friend nearby helps her feel more confident, though she’s happiest at home or in a familiar yard. A secure environment and a family who understands her sensitivity to unexpected sounds will help keep her safe.
At home, Lana is a total sweetheart! She greets her favorite people with a wagging tail, happily accepts pets, and loves simply hanging out with her humans. She’s fully potty trained, does well in her kennel, can be trusted loose in the house, and isn’t destructive. She even knows “sit” and “lie down”—smart girl!
✨Lana’s dream home will include:✨
🦮A confident canine companion: Lana truly thrives with other dogs and needs a friendly, confident dog buddy to help her feel safe, build confidence, and bring out her playful side.
🏠A securely fenced yard: Her own outdoor space is ideal for zoomies, playtime, and feeling safe.
🏠A quiet home without shared walls: Lana can be sensitive to loud and unexpected noises and may bark in response, so a quieter environment would be best.
🧑🧑🧒🧒A patient, understanding family: She may be shy when meeting new people and needs time, patience, and a safe environment to blossom.
🐾Safe, low-pressure outings: While she walks nicely on leash, traffic and sudden noises can frighten her. She feels more secure with a trusted dog friend and is happiest exploring familiar surroundings.
Lana has been waiting longer than she should for her happily-ever-after, and now her adoption fee has been reduced through our We’re Still Waiting program! She may need a little extra help feeling confident in the big, noisy world, but give her a safe home, a canine bestie, and a little patience, and you’ll discover the loving, playful girl just waiting to shine.
Could you be the one to help Lana’s story have the happy ending she deserves? 💗🐾
