This boy is a wonderful boy!! He is fun, friendly and ready to go. He gets along with other pups and should do well with kids. He loves to play and has the wonderful hound personality. He will need all the puppy training, and leash work, but should learn quite fast. He is ready for his new adventure with his forever family. Linus is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This is a wonderful gal!! She is very friendly and loves people. She likes to talk, play with other pups and be hugged by anyone! She would be a great adventure companion for any family. She will need all of the basic training, along with leash work, but should learn quite fast. She is learning her name and is ready to go! Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders Transport Company.

Story
Meet Sunny ☀️ Sunny is a 1-year-old neutered hound mix weighing about 50 pounds, and he truly lives up to his name. He’s a chill, easygoing guy who enjoys playtime but doesn’t get overly excited. He plays nicely with other dogs, shares toys and treats without issue, and has a naturally gentle spirit. (Cats, however, are a bit too tempting for him — he will chase.) Sunny was found chasing cars in a rural area outside of San Antonio. He had originally been adopted from the local shelter about a year ago, but when attempts were made to contact the registered owner, no one responded. Neighbors shared that his owner had moved away and left him behind. Thankfully, a kind woman had been feeding him, but she was no longer able to continue. She told us he was wonderful with her young children — and we absolutely believe it. Sunny is incredibly gentle and sweet. He walks nicely on a leash, does well in a crate, and has had no accidents in the house. He already knows how to sit and is always happy to hand out kisses. His vet check confirmed he’s a healthy boy and ready for his fresh start. He tends to want to chase cats so no cats. Sunny arrives in Minnesota on Saturday, 2/21, where he’ll be in a foster home with toddlers and other dogs. We’re excited to see him settle in and continue to shine. If you’re looking for a steady, sweet, affectionate companion, Sunny might just be your guy. Apply to adopt through Camp Companion at www.campcompanion.org . Adoption fee is $350 plus tax.
