Story
Ruby is an awesome dog. She is happy, playful, really good with other dogs (and animals), and really good with people. She is great in the house, she pretty much never barks, and she is very tolerant. She will let you clip her nails and she does well at the vet. She can be strong-willed and impulsive, but responds really well to training, especially with food. She wants to make you happy. Ruby is the best dog I could have asked for, but I simply don't have time to give her the life she deserves. She would do best in a home with another dog, and with someone who has more time to take her on adventures and do things with her or be home with her more. I'm really hoping to find her a good and loving home.

Story
Romeo is sponsored by the Litke Family.Meet Romeo.
He’s part dog, part caffeinated rocket. Romeo doesn’t walk — he teleports, leaving only a blur and the faint sound of zoomies in his wake. He’s fueled by adventure, fetch marathons, and your inability to catch him.Romeo has been waiting far too long for his happily ever after, and we’re hoping you might be the one he’s been dreaming of. This longtime resident is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of love to give.Romeo enjoys getting his energy out with a good run or some fun exercise—once he’s had his zoomies, his true personality shines. He transforms into the ultimate goofy companion, curling himself into the tiniest little ball imaginable just to be as close to his person as possible. If you’re looking for a dog who can be your adventure buddy and your snuggle superhero, Romeo is your guy. He’s loyal, loving, and ready to finally have a place to call home. Romeo has been patient… now he just needs someone to choose him. 💕If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment.
