Story
Meet Alondra female DOB: January 15, 2024 Weight: 48 lbs Breed: American Foxhound / Terrier Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Alondra is a loving, active dog  with a playful personality and a joyful spirit. At a young age, she has the perfect balance of youthful energy and growing maturity. She enjoys companionship, activity, and being part of everyday life with his people. She is affectionate, social, and loves interaction and engagement. Alondra would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, playtime, and including their dog in daily routines and adventures. As an American Foxhound / Terrier mix, Alondra may show traits such as intelligence, curiosity, athleticism, and a strong desire to explore and stay active. Hound breeds were originally developed to use their noses and instincts while tracking, which can naturally create a stronger prey drive toward smaller animals. Because of these breed tendencies, Alondra does not do well with cats and would do best in a cat-free home. This is not because she is a “bad dog,” but rather because certain breed instincts can make some dogs more interested in chasing or focusing on small animals. Foxhound and Terrier mixes are often known for being: Loyal and people-oriented Energetic and playful Smart and engaging companions Alondra would do best in an active, loving home where she can receive exercise, structure, companionship, and mental stimulation. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Alondra will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and routine Daily exercise and mental stimulation Patience and consistency during adjustment Continued socialization and engagement Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With time, patience, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into incredibly loyal companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Alondra will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping her live a healthy and happy life. Alondra is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like many rescue dogs, Lady may need time to adjust to a new home, routine, and environment. Even well-socialized dogs benefit from patience and consistency as they transition into a new family. Most rescue dogs arrive with varying levels of training, so adopters should be prepared to continue reinforcing household manners and routines. Lady is eager to please and responds well to kindness, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. Lady will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience and consistency Mental stimulation and enrichment Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, love, and guidance, Lady will blossom into a loyal and devoted member of the family. Noise Marie is pure puppy happiness wrapped up into one tiny, goofy little girl. She is around three months old and already has such a lovable personality that people fall for her immediately. She has this bright, cheerful energy that fills the room without ever being too much. She’s playful and silly in the sweetest way and somehow turns every single moment into something entertaining. She absolutely loves toys and can spend forever happily bouncing around with one, tossing it in the air, chasing it, and proudly carrying it around afterward like she accomplished something incredible. Watching her play is impossible not to laugh at because she is so animated and dramatic in the cutest puppy way. She especially loves playing with other dogs and gets so excited anytime she has a friend to wrestle and hop around with. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/YXPibXE5m0Y?si=Ybl5pGECRV5qDk_K Noise Marie is also incredibly affectionate. She loves being pet and cuddled and has such a soft, loving personality underneath all her goofy puppy antics. She is the kind of puppy who wants to curl up close after playtime and soak up every bit of affection she can get. She loves attention and gives so much sweetness back in return. One of the best things about Noise Marie is how naturally happy she is. She wakes up excited for life every single day.
