He has a drive to find things and would LOVE to have a family who KNOWS the breed and who will EXERCISE his NOSE :) Bloodhounds are the neatest dogs but have to have someone who knows what their breed instincts are all about. And softest EARS you will ever feel!! ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!! PUREBRED BLOODHOUND AVAILABLE NOW!!! Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Fenrir (Fen) is our lil angel who came to us by accident. We're rehoming him because of a family situation that will leave us very little time to give him the care he needs moving forward. We're looking for a new home that can provide him the attention he deserves. He has not been around kids and will need future training with this. Fen has completed a basic training course, and knows many commands like Sit, Stay, Wait, Come, Take, and Leave It. He's food motivated and would do excellent with further training. Fen loves to cuddle up to his people - sometimes forgetting that he weighs 70lbs haha. He's got a big happy grin, a goofy personality, and a love for chew toys. Especially stuffed ones! Fenrir is about 18 months old and while he still has a lot of the puppy energy, he's very independent and will just take a toy and do his own thing if you're busy. We're asking $40, but this is negotiable. Please reach out if you'd like to meet the lovable Fen :)

Story
Video of Poppy now: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JfNL3x4OSbA Video of Poppy when he was first rescued: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Q9nNafh25VI Poppy is about 7 months old and appears to be a plott hound mix. He came to our rescue tiny, starved, and with a limp. He is now a big, healthy boy and is ready to find his happily ever after. He has been raised among dogs of all sizes and is great with everyone. He doesn't have an ounce of aggression and is submissive or even-keeled with other dogs. He is also great with cats. He follows me without a leash, doesn't run off, does well in the crate and loves water. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of the locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find him a local foster or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Albany and Buffalo) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $485 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
