Macy is a 3 year old American Fox Hound. She came to the rescue in very bad condition, so emaciated it was questionable if she would recover. It took months but she has finally started to eat well and putting on weight. She had some early kidney issues due to health issues not addressed in her early life. It is recommended that her kidneys are checked periodically. She is thriving in her foster home, loved by everyone. Totally housebroken, crate trained, very quiet , loves other dogs, cats and kids. Her foster family absolutely loves her and wants her to have that special family to treat her special. She adores her people with all she has. ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below: Dog/Puppy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Dog Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 5 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed. 4.
