Story
Maggie is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Maggie is a female, possibly American Foxhound/Lab mix and is around 1 1/2 years old. -~75-80 pounds and a tall girl. The top of her head rests at my belly button and I am 5'4". -She came into our rescue as a found stray and was kept outside. She liked to play/chase the family's cows, so she wasn't a good fit on their farm. -Finder said she does fine with cats and since she was outside the entire time, they think she would be fine as an indoor dog and going outside to potty. -Very sweet natured, loves to be loved. Likes belly rubs and shakes on her own. -Unsure if she is housebroken. -Does well with other dogs. -Is not good about walking on a leash quite yet, she just lays down and rolls on her back. We are working on this with her! -Does better with women than men; we suspect a man has not been nice to her at some point. She did well with our animal control officer, who is a male. -Video of Maggie: https://youtube.com/shorts/cT5f4lIHqrg Maggie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test, on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. PA Kennel License #5254Wags RescueSouthampton Pa 18966 9/12/24 Bubba Wags. Bubba is a 11 year old Foxhound. 80 lbs. He is treat motivated and eager to learn. He knows basic commands. Bubba would do best in a home without children / children visiting. He will need to be your one and only dog as he has trouble making doggie friends in the past (However he is best friends w Bryson Society so if you are looking for 2 playful dogs they can go together as a bonded pair). He likes walks but is not a good candidate for the dog park due to his distrust of other dogs. He is loyal and loving once he gets to know you. He is crate trained and housebroken in his current foster home. Needs a strong handler / experienced dog owner. ** No kids, no other dogs, no cats/ no other pets. Please let us know if you have any questions about Bubba. He is sweet, loyal and well mannered. Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.

Story
Hi, I'm Kipp-a gentle soul with a soft heart and a love for the simple things. I'm a mild-mannered foxhound who's a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, my sweet personality starts to shine. I'm housebroken, sweet, cuddly and always on my best behavior. Staff at SAVE even describe me as 'lazy'. HAHA! I'm not the kind of pup to jump into the spotlight, but I'm the kind who'll stay right by your side. One of my favorite things is using my nose to explore the world. I could sniff through the grass for hours-it's like my own little adventure every time! I'd love a calm home where I can take things slow, build trust, and be your gentle, loyal companion. If you're the patient, kind-hearted type, I just know we'll be a perfect match.Already falling for those big brown eyes and floppy ears? If you're interested in giving this pup a fresh start, please fill out an adoption or foster application on our website: www.savehomelessanimals.org.The shelter conducts adoptions by appointment only. We're here to help you find your furry best friend!+++If you are age 65+, Kipp's adoption fee is WAIVED as part of our 'Seniors for Seniors' adoption program.+++ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 64 Age: 8yrs 6mths 2wks
