Troy is a lovable three-year-old male American Foxhound/Beagle who came to the shelter when his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. He's had a hard life mostly in a home kennel and is heart worm positive. He will need to be a foster-to-adopt situation with the center paying for his medical costs to cure his heart worm. He's a sociable guy with nice medium energy. Weighs 34 pounds.

Story
Dabo is a 9-year-old mixed breed. I've had him for the past 8 and 1/2 years. He is very sweet. Very kind. Just a really wonderful dog and it really breaks my heart to have to rehome him. He loves to run. He loves to go outside. Go for hikes. He also loves to just curl up, snuggle and sleep in bed with you. He's really an amazing dog. He is very wary of strangers. He does bark at people. Never bitten anyone. Never even attempted or acted like he was going to. Once he knows somebody he's great with them and lives them. Really good with kids. Unfortunately we have to rehome him due to limited housing options and the best place for us doesn't allow dogs.
