Story
Jewel is a loving dog. She wants to be with you wherever you are, and will wait patiently until you're ready to go to another room. BONUS - she is so soft. We at Who Saved Whom rescued her from the euthanasia list at Animal Control. She was picked up as a stray with two puppies. Her ideal family will have someone home with her a lot, or send her to daycare. She LOVES doggie daycare! She has some separation anxiety, which we are working with her on. If you can keep helping her learn that she will be ok, she will continue to learn. If you want a close friend, who will lounge and sleep with you OR go hiking with you, this is your girl.

Story
Marshall is an old red tick coonhound who has had a hard life.  He is about 45 lbs and 10 years old.  He is slowly recovering and came as a stray from the Valley River Humane Society as a hospice case on 12/30/21.  At least he now has good food and a warm place in the Howling Wolf Cabin to spend his days.  We are still trying to fatten him up.  He was I think the most starved dog I have ever seen in my 20 years doing dog rescue.  But slowly he is recovering.April 21, 2024, 7:51 pm

GOOD IN A HOME WITH Other dogs, children, other animals. PREFERS A HOME WITHOUT Cats. Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments. Meet Izzy Izzy and her 7 beautiful puppies found themselves in animal control on the euthanasia list like so many other wonderful dogs! Since we couldn't stand to see them die, Castoff Pet Rescue was able to rescue them from death row and find wonderful homes for all her puppies but now it's her turn! Izzy a young hound mix, with a beautiful coat. She is active and would do good with a job, lots of play and walks. She is housebroken and crate trained, and would be so happy to be in a home! While she is shy around new people, once she gets to know you she will shake you down for treats. No cats or chickens, but Izzy does well with other dogs after proper introduction. Like so many hounds, she loves a good scent, and is always on the hunt for one, so she will climb a fence so she needs a a tall privacy fence or walk on leash only. She would be a great trail dog. Please consider giving this amazing mama a home of her own now that her babies are all in homes!
