Story
Looking for a loyal best friend with a playful spark and a cuddle bug heart? Ali Belle is ready to twirl her way right into your life. Ali is the definition of a "people person" in a dog’s body. She is a total velcro dog who believes the best place in the world is exactly where you are usually right at your feet. She’s so dedicated to being near you that she’ll happily act as your personal shadow, following you from room to room just to make sure you’re never lonely! She’s the kind of pup who looks up at you with the softest, most adoring eyes… and then, out of nowhere, bursts into the cutest little happy bounce when she’s feeling herself. It’s impossible not to smile around her. Ali carries this gentle, loving energy that makes you want to sit in the grass beside her, soak up the sunshine, and just exist in the sweetest, simplest moments together. Watch this loyal shadow with a wagging tail and a gentle soul in action https://youtu.be/PCSQxoX2YIs Looking at those adorable ears and that bright, expressive face, we suspect Ali is a charming Foxhound mix, though in the world of rescues, she’s a "100% Certified Good Girl." She is a medium sized lady, weighing in at 41lbs a perfect, manageable size that makes her easy to load into the car for adventures or tuck onto the sofa for a movie marathon. She’s got a big heart in a perfectly compact frame! Ali is currently flourishing in a foster home where she is the ultimate social butterfly! She lives harmoniously with three children and handles the hustle and bustle of a busy house like a pro. When her foster family heads out, Ali is a total angel; she isn’t vocal or destructive, preferring to just relax until her favorite humans return. She’s the kind of houseguest who never forgets her manners! When it comes to other dogs, Ali is a versatile friend who loves making new friends. She has a great spirit and would thrive with a canine sibling who enjoys a fun game of tag followed by a long nap. Ali has been such a trooper, she had leg surgery and worked hard in physical therapy and she’s come out on the other side stronger and happier than ever! She loves to run, play and zoom just like any other dog. Is she a fan of feline friends? The jury is still out! Ali met our house cat named Biggie and walked away, but she definitely had a "what is that?" look in her eyes. To make sure everyone stays happy and safe, Ali would love a supervised "kitty sleepover" to see if she’s ready for a feline roommate. Whether you have a sprawling yard for zoomies or a cozy apartment, Ali is ready to adapt! Her foster family thinks she’d be a stellar apartment dog because she’s so polite on a leash and quiet indoors. She’s the kind of girl who bonds deeply and blossoms with love, structure, and consistency. Ali is a resilient, affectionate, and joyful soul who has mastered the art of being a best friend. She’s survived her surgery with a smile and is now just looking for a soft place to land and a family to be a part of. Don’t let this golden girl slip away click the link below to submit your application and bring Ali home! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/692ca73396e8c647ed03c5a9 Questions? WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.   ##2658081##
