Story
Dolly is a sweetheart! The girl who never met a belly rub she didn’t like! If you’ve been searching for a loyal sidekick who prioritizes affection above all else, your search ends right here. Watch her video and see for yourself why everyone who meets Dolly falls in love. https://youtu.be/LOwX-rDmKdA This girl isn't just a dog, she's a professional velcro companion in training! Whether you’re folding laundry or catching up on your favorite show, she’ll be right there, likely trying to nudge her way into your lap for a snooze. She is the definition of a shadow dog, preferring to be wherever you are, soaking up every ounce of love you’re willing to give. We suspect this stunning girl is a Border Collie mix, sporting a gorgeous red and white coat that is sure to turn heads at the park. At 51 lbs, she’s that perfect just right size, easy to take anywhere and the ideal co-pilot for your weekend errands or a cozy brunch on a patio. Like any rescue, her breed mix is our best educated guess, but her 100% "Good Girl" status is a total guarantee! She is currently living the good life in a foster home and is absolutely crushing her training! She is both crate trained and potty trained, making her transition into your home a whole lot smoother. She’s also been a total gem with children; she was super submissive and gentle with a five year old, immediately flopping over to show her belly. She’s a family oriented girl through and through. Dolly has the bags packed and the tail wagging she’s just waiting for the forever home where she truly belongs! When it comes to other pups, she’s a slow and steady kind of girl. Dolly can be a little shy at first, she likes to read the room. She likes to read the room and take her time getting comfortable. But once she warms up, she blossoms beautifully and enjoys wandering alongside her furry friends. She’d do best with a dog sibling who’s respectful of her space and gentle as she builds confidence. That said, Dolly can absolutely thrive as your one and only! She’s more than happy to soak up 100% of the spotlight… and 100% of the treats. Is she a feline fan? That’s the million dollar question! Dolly hasn't told us her thoughts on cats yet. To make sure everyone stays happy and safe, we’d recommend a supervised sleepover to see if a kitty sibling is in her future. Whether you live in a house with a yard or a cozy apartment, this girl is ready to move in! She’s a versatile girl who just wants a place where the cuddles are plentiful and the treats are consistent. This beautiful red and white gem is truly a treasure in our rescue, a submissive, affectionate, house trained puppy with the sweetest, most gentle heart. She’s kid friendly, eager to please, and ready to be your loyal best friend for life. Dolly is more than ready to bring all of that love straight to your sofa… and into your heart. Story
Hi! I'm Lugnut! Yes, like the shiny little bolt that keeps the wheels on. I assume this means I am essential. Possibly heroic. Definitely important. I am built for two speeds. Speed one is Zipping Zoomies, preferably outdoors where the air tastes like grass and distant horizons. Speed two is Cruise-control Cuddler. I fold myself neatly beside you, lean in with quiet support, and remain there like a warm, breathing paperweight. I enjoy my independence. My toys and I have very serious meetings on the rug. The squeaky one has a lot to say. The rope needs humbling. Sometimes I play for long stretches by myself, perfectly content, because a lady must cultivate her hobbies. That said, if my foster brother so much as looks at me the wrong way, it is time to wrestle. We tumble. We strategize. We dramatically collapse. It is a balanced and noble rivalry. I know there are still a lot of lessons to be learned… and lessons to teach. Particularly to my stuffed toy. It is looking at me funny. But don’t worry! I’m ready to be the missing piece you were searching for. After all, I am Lugnut, the piece that holds it all together.   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2657664##
