Story
The mom was rehomed to us. We did not know she was in heat at that time and had six puppies with our dog we already had at home. We live in a Condo, no space and HOA is not allowing us to have more than the two pets we already have. Traviesa is a shy, nerves puppy. She is eight months old. Sometime her nerves get the best of her and she will bark to protect herself. She is very loving, sweet and just wants to be held.

Story
Oreo is a loving dog! He's 5 years old and is a major foodie. He loves to go on walks, eat all the snacks (including the occasional Cheeto) and takes lots of naps. He's been with us since he was a puppy and has a good temperament. He enjoys the attention and is eager to please. We've decided to part ways with him because of our really busy schedule and we just don't have time to give him the love he deserves. Oreo does have a cherry eye, he's had this since we've got him as a puppy. It doesn't bother him what so ever and doesn't need any medication or anything like that. We have taken him to the vet and they all say he'll be just fine. It's really up to us (the owner) to remove it surgically if we please, but he's been fine all these 5 years. He does well around cats and children. We've never had any issues with him. He's ready to receive all the love! Send me a message if you're interested in him.

Story
Merle is a French bulldog mix girl. @3 years old and 27 lbs. Gray merle coloring. House trained, alpha female - bossy with very small dogs and children.  Very sweet and loves to cuddle with her people. Found as a stray with staffy Samson. She is good with large male submissive dogs. Though when another dog is being petted she wants all the attention for herself! She is spayed and UTD on her shots.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
Elmer is 5 yr old loving and calm companion. He is crate and potty trained. Well behaved indoors, does not jump on the furniture and has never chewed on furniture/kids toys. He loves being cuddled next to you. We have taken him on many road trips, fishing, and hiking. As long as there are no other dogs around he is very well behaved. We need a family who will have him as an only pet. He is wonderful with babies/kids and with people, and is such a sweetheart! Please no other pets in the home.

Story
The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be scheduled after a completed and signed application is submitted. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis...We do our homework and ensure the home is the best possible situation for the pet based on breed specifics and the lifestyle of the potential home. Breed descriptions are the best guess since we do not know both parents... One Mutt at a Time does our best to establish possible breed mixes using our experience in consultation with our vet. We make no guarantees to breed combinations unless we know both parents. This is a mixed breed dog of unknown origin unless otherwise stated.
