Leo & Oatmeal – Bonded Besties Looking for Their Forever Home (Together!)   Leo and Oatmeal are a very special bonded pair who are ready to find their forever home — together. These two share a deep connection and rely on one another for comfort, confidence, and security. Where one goes, the other follows    Because of their strong bond, Leo and Oatmeal would do best as the only dogs in the home. While they can get along with other dogs, they are very protective of each other, and we believe they will be happiest and most relaxed in a home where they can enjoy life as a duo.   They would do best in a home with older children. Leo absolutely loves his toys and happily takes playtime very seriously — especially when it comes to balls and his favorite toys. He can be very focused on his play, so it’s important that children in the home understand and respect his love of toys and give him space during playtime. In the right environment, his playful spirit truly shines.    Their details:   Bonded pair – must be adopted together Best in a home with older children Prefer to be the only dogs Spayed & neutered Up-to-date on vaccines Microchipped Ready for their forever home     Leo and Oatmeal are looking for a family who understands the beauty of bonded pairs and is willing to welcome both of them into their hearts and home. If you’re looking for double the love, companionship, and loyalty, this sweet duo may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.    To apply to adopt Leo & Oatmeal, please visit: www.kpprescue.com        If you’re ready for double the snorts, double the cuddles, and double the love, Leo and Oatmeal are waiting for you. ##2623515##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Apollo - The Once-Defensive, Now-Doting Uncle Apollo's journey to OURS wasn't exactly smooth. This one-year old pug mix found himself at the shelter, where he was immediately met with what he considered a very rude introduction - vaccinations. We humans know they're necessary, but Apollo wasn't shy about expressing his strong disapproval. His honesty landed him a "rescue only" label, and just like that, he was on borrowed time. Enter OURS. Understandably, Apollo was a little unsure at first. But then - almost overnight - he realized life with us wasn't so bad. In fact, it was pretty great. He's since taken on the role of "Uncle Apollo" to a crew of bottle-fed pug puppies and rambunctious terrier pups, and let us tell you - watching this once-defensive little guy get climbed on and loved by his tiny nieces and nephews is nothing short of heart-melting. Apollo takes a minute to warm up to new people. He might bark at first, but we like to think he's just telling you his story. And once he's shared his tale and decides you're part of it? He's the sweetest, most loyal kiddo around. Apollo is looking for a family who understands that trust takes a moment, but love lasts forever. Could that be you?
