They did the right thing by reaching out to a rescue who is dedicated and determined to prioritize our health and rehabilitation above all else it’s unknown how many litters I was forced to have before I got rescued because my Previous Owner wouldn’t disclose that information, but it was clear that I was mistreated because I was skittish with a slight fear of new people. It takes me a while to open up and get to know them. I’m always afraid they’re going to hurt me since coming to the rescue, I have learned not all human contact is painful but I was one that was forced to live outside 24/7 and when there was no food, I had to resort to going after chickens just so I could eat, especially while I was pregnant I love playing outside and going for walks and car rides because I did have to fend for myself I do have prey drive when it comes to chickens and small animals I’m a very sweet girl if you give me a chanceI’m hoping to find my forever home before Christmas if you think you can make that wish come true please contact my rescuer with the information listed above my story to schedule an adoption meeting. **Walnut is Dog SELECTIVE ** Walnut is very spunky lady. She may be small, but her personality is mighty. Walnut found herself in the shelter as a "stray" with an injured eye. The shelter did the best they could, but Walnut was quickly placed on their euthanasia list because she was "medical". When we got her out, she had an immediate vet exam where it was deemed her eye injury was old, and that is seemed not to bother her, so no further treatment is necessary. However, her eye over time could need some eye drops. Walnut is good with other dogs but it does take her time to get comfortable so an ideal home for her would be an only dog situation. If you have other dogs, we would need to do multiple meet and greets to ensure Walnuts attitude is managed. DONT be discuraged, this goofy girl is very sweet. Meet little Peaches. She was adopted at 11 weeks old from the North Central LA shelter. Her mother was a frenchie and her father a chihuahua. She is a French Bullhuahua! She is spunky, playful and affectionate. She is seven months old as of February 2026. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her shots. She is a very healthy girl. Peaches would love a home with another playful dog companion but it is not necessary. She is very affectionate and sweet. She is still working on potty training and is used to using potty pads. She sleeps very well in her house/crate through the night. She LOVES to play with other dogs, even larger ones. She would be good in an older child home with respectful children. She is on the petite size for a frenchie mix at 13 lbs. She definitely has the personality of a frenchie! I would include her house/crate and bed which is her safe space. I am looking for the best home for her that will give her the time and affection she deserves.
