Matilda is a 3-year-old, 24-lb French Bulldog with a sweet soul and a playful heart. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up quickly and is ready to have fun. Matilda absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. She plays in the classic Frenchie style: rowdy, physical, and full of enthusiasm, so she would do best with a confident dog who enjoys a similar rough-and-tumble play style. Her foster mom feels that Matilda requires another dog in the home to be truly happy. She is crate-trained and is currently working on house-training. She’s making progress but will need a patient and consistent adopter to help her continue learning. Matilda is not catching on to leash training yet, so she also REQUIRES a fenced in yard. Matilda does have dry eye and requires twice-daily eye drops (Cyclosporine/Tacrolimus), which she does well with and will need for life. Story

Gus is almost 4 years old. He is a cuddly sweet French bulldog that we have had for 11 months. Gus is wonderful 95% of the time, but 5% of the time Gus has unpredictable behavior, and will nip or bite, he has some triggers we haven't been able to fully understand. At this time we feel like he will be a loving companion for a family without kids or other dogs. We are looking for someone willing to invest in behavioral or psychological training for Gus, who has trauma from before coming to live with us. We have 4 kids. And they love him, but he occasionally nips at them in unpredictable ways. In the last year he's bitten my husband, and an adult neighbor. We love him and want the best future for him, in a quiet house without so many kids coming and going. He is mostly house trained but he's gotten excited and peed on our indoor couch and our outdoor couch a couple times- just want to be very transparent!
