Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Mason is totally housebroken, gets along with other dogs, super sweet and loves to cuddle. He is such a good boy his only downfall is he’s a little shy of people at first. He’s an excellent walker on a leash and he’s learning commands. Mason is a Husky / Shihtzu - Chihuahua mix with short legs and weighs about 30 pounds.  His birthdate is around September 2022. ##1698992##

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Lola Jean and Angus Daniel are a bonded 2-year-old pair who are looking for a home together, where they can continue to thrive side by side. Lola Jean is a female Bulldog mix with a fun, enthusiastic personality. She is food motivated (she LOVES her treats!!) and enjoys learning and engaging with people. She has moderate to high energy and can get very excited when heading somewhere she’s interested in, which can lead to some strong pulling on leash. In her kennel, she has been reliable and has not had accidents. Angus Daniel is a 2-year-old Scottish Terrier mix who tends to be more calm and easygoing. He walks very well on leash and has a relaxed presence overall. He is still working on consistency with potty habits and may occasionally have accidents in his kennel, but he is continuing to improve. Together, Lola Jean and Angus Daniel bring out the best in each other. They are both noticeably more settled, confident, and content when they are together, and their bond provides them with comfort and balance. They are looking for a home that can welcome them both and continue supporting their individual needs while celebrating the strong connection they share. Lola Jean currently weighs about 42lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 08/16/02023), and her adoption fee is $510. Lola Jean has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Lola Jean, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Toby – The Little Worrier with a Big Heart Toby is a 3-ish year old Chihuahua/Pug mix with an expressive face that could win an Oscar for “Most Concerned Pup.” Don’t let that worried look fool you — he’s perfectly fine! It’s just his clever way of tugging at your heartstrings (and let’s be honest, it’s working). This pint-sized gentleman gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and humans alike. Once he realizes the car ride isn’t headed to the vet, he’s all in for an adventure — windows down, ears flapping, heart happy. But at the end of the day, what Toby loves most is snuggling up close and soaking in all the love he can get. If you’re looking for a sweet, soulful companion who will make you smile every day, Toby’s your guy. ##2535572##
