A “calm snorty lovebug” is how one of the staff members described me. I’m known to climb into people’s lap, just chilling and getting loved. I’m also pretty smart: sit, down, stay and ready to learn more! I enjoy having fun fetching toys, especially the ones that don’t just squeak but make some funky noises. I do prefer women, no offense guys, and would love to be the only 4-legged in the home in order to be the center of attention. You’ve got love…I’ve got love for you too girl! I have some special needs so I am available as a permanent foster. This means that Save-A-Pet will continue to coordinate and pay for the vet care related to my condition. Now, you can look at me and KNOW that I am special!! Physically I am special and emotionally I am SPECIAL TOO ) I love everyone AND I am great with dogs/cats and pigs!! Can you believe it?? Now, I am a great boy, 3 yrs old and a little underweight but that is ok :) I have had a rough three years... my family got me when i was a baby and little did they know that the "breeder" was not honest with them about my health issues.... I have a "redundant esophagus" which basically means I either have a sliding hiatal hernia OR a pouch created by fold in the esophagus... each term means I have had the propensity to eat and vomit. SO, luckily I have had all the diagnostics needed to assess and the plan for my eating and post eating is simple!! I get one pill about 30 minutes before I eat and then I sit quietly for 15-30 min after I eat. My diet is softened dry food and canned food with water to make mushy :) I am looking for the BEST home!! Everyone who meets me falls in love...I am kind of like a gargoyle :) My eyes look both ways and I am a low to the ground silly boy. I am such a good boy, you wlll be lucky to love me for life!! I am waiting for you!!! Local adoption only $350 (in TX only)
