A “calm snorty lovebug” is how one of the staff members described me. I’m known to climb into people’s lap, just chilling and getting loved. I’m also pretty smart: sit, down, stay and ready to learn more! I enjoy having fun fetching toys, especially the ones that don’t just squeak but make some funky noises. I do prefer women, no offense guys, and would love to be the only 4-legged in the home in order to be the center of attention. You’ve got love…I’ve got love for you too girl! I have some special needs so I am available as a permanent foster. This means that Save-A-Pet will continue to coordinate and pay for the vet care related to my condition. I’m of course also available for adoption.

Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org.
