Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Paper versions are available upon request. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile above. After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Meet Fig: an 8-year-old cuddle expert with a gentle personality and a love for slow mornings, cozy naps, and daily walks. He can be shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, he’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and happiest by your side. Fig is very devoted to his people and can be territorial and protective of those he’s bonded with. He does best in calm environments and is not comfortable around other dogs. He also experiences separation anxiety and can become vocal when left alone, so he thrives with patience, consistency, and a predictable routine. At home, Fig is laid-back, cuddly, and content spending most of the day relaxing near his favorite humans — especially after a good walk.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Jacque — a French Bulldog with a big heart and a soft spot for naps. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m just starting to discover how fun life can be. I came here with my brother after our previous owner realized they couldn’t care for us financially. When we arrived, we both had some pretty rough skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. But don’t worry—I’m already on the road to feeling much better and getting healthier every day! I’m a very sweet boy, and I’m learning what love, playtime, and affection are all about. It’s all still a little new to me, but I like it… a lot. Frenchies like me are usually playful, silly, and full of energy—and I’m sure that side of me will come out more and more as I gain confidence. Right now, my absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on my doggy couch and take a good nap. It’s kind of my specialty. I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m all set to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. Grunt!  The sounds of Mr French!  This hunk has just arrived and ready for his forever home!  He is estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs right at 25lbs.  Good with other dogs, but cats are unknown at this time. Any kids in the home should be older and calm. Foster Home update: Mr. Frenchie French has settled in nicely making friends with all the residence dogs.  He would do better with someone who is home more than not.  This sweet boy can be vocal when left alone so his new home should be a non-attached residence as apartment living is not for him!  We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
