Hi there! I'm Lemon—but my foster mom usually calls me Lemon Drop (and occasionally Lemon Meringue when I'm pretending I didn't hear her).
If you're looking for a happy, affectionate, people-loving pittie who's always ready to brighten your day, I think we should meet.
My favorite place in the whole world is wherever you are. I'm what humans call a Velcro dog, which means I love being part of everything you're doing. Whether you're working around the house, relaxing on the couch, or heading out for a walk, I'll happily be your loyal little shadow. Personal space? I don't really understand the concept—but I make up for it with endless love and kisses.
I'm crate trained, house trained, and eager to learn. I'm incredibly food motivated, already have an excellent "sit," and love making my people proud. I'm also doing great with my leash manners. I don't pull, but I'm a curious girl who likes to check everything out, so we're working on staying by your side during walks.
I'd be happy living in either a house or an apartment, as long as I get regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I absolutely love zooming around the backyard, but I'm just as happy curling up next to my favorite human after we've had some fun.
I enjoy spending time with other dogs and love to play! Right now I'm learning how to adjust my play style to match that of my doggy friends. It's still a work in progress, but I'm giving it my very best shot because I want everyone to have just as much fun as I do.
I haven't met cats or young kiddos yet, but I have a low prey drive, so with slow introductions I may do well with feline friends. I also think I'd do best with older children who can join in on my adventures and understand that I'm still polishing my manners.
More than anything, I just want to love my people with my whole heart. My foster mom says I've brought so much joy to her life, and she knows I'll do exactly the same for my forever family.
