Cardi is a dog who presented with severe bilateral ear disease (AU), including purulent discharge and nearly fully occluded ear canals. Multiple masses are present on the concave surfaces of the pinnae, contributing to obstruction. These findings are concerning for conditions such as ceruminous gland hyperplasia, adenoma, or adenocarcinoma, all of which require further diagnostic evaluation. In addition, Cardi has excessive tail folds, lichenification and erythema of the mammary glands, a raised mass on the ventral neck, and thinning of the coat with erythema on the hind feet, indicating widespread chronic skin disease.She was treated with Cytopoint for pruritus and received an enrofloxacin injection, as she was unwilling to take oral medication.Cardi’s condition requires advanced diagnostics, ongoing medical management, and potential surgical intervention, which exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite these challenges, Cardi is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Cardi needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive continued veterinary evaluation, treatment, and monitoring to address her complex medical needs.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide. I purchased this sweet French Bulldog puppy, Bulli, from a reputable breeder in June of last year, and he has been such a special part of my life. His birthday is coming up on May 9. He’s an active, affectionate little muscle man with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being close to his person, enjoys playtime, and is very friendly with other animals. Loud noises can startle him at first, but he settles quickly and shows his loving, playful nature.He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has records on file at TCAP. He is also AKC registered, with paperwork available. Like most Frenchies, he cannot tolerate extended heat and does best indoors with supervised outdoor time.This has been a very difficult decision, but I want what’s best for him. I’m looking for a loving, stable home where he will be cared for and truly cherished.
