We only accept applications from Wisconsin. Greg was originally adopted over a year ago but his family is seeking a new home. Greg loves his people and does well with the dogs in his home. He struggles with visitors and needs a home that can work with this and be consistent with the boundaries bulldogs need. He’s a lovable lump, but becomes a bossy bouncer to those he’s not sure should be admitted into his house. Greg has experienced IVDD as many frenchies do, so a home that has one level would help Greg keep his back safe. He can live with other dogs who won’t play rough with him or challenge him to do more than his potato body should. Frenchie are not beginner dogs so someone who knows and understands the breed is a must. Being a frenchie, preference will be given to those who are committed and experienced with this breed. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Meet Marco! Marco is a lovable Frenchie who gets along well with other dogs and has a sweet, affectionate personality. He’s looking for a forever family who understands French Bulldogs and their unique medical needs, and who will give him all the love and care he deserves. Story
Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. You must fill out all of the blanks in the application - put "n/a" if one question is not applicable to you.
