* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org.* This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, October 17th from 12PM – 3PM (unless adopted prior to the event).  3910 Middlefield Road All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $650 Meet the Starbucks Puppies  Pink Drink and her sister Caramel Macchiato are what we like to call Heinz 57 pups - they've got a splash of a whole bunch of breeds thrown in there! We did what you all will be doing - we ran their photos through AI - and it suggested German Pinscher and Hound mix. Whatever their mystery formula is, it's 100% cuteness with a heavy splash of sweetness! At 11-12 weeks old, Pink Drink weighs about 14 lbs. She's got the super floppy hound-ish ears and a leggy body. Pink Drink's forte is snuggling. While she loves playtime with her sister, she is even more keen to find a lap to occupy once she's gotten her puppy energy out! This girl is a toy hound (no pun intended!) and has been known to keep her self occupied with a pile of stuffies. She's been incredibly respectful when meeting smaller puppies who didn't want to play with her and is completely unbothered at DPS adoption events, unfazed by bigger dogs barking around her. She loves to be held and even though she's getting big, still likes to be carried around like a baby! This one will be a lifetime snuggle-bug for sure.   Growing Up Starbucks All of the Starbucks puppies are playful, loving, and wonderful with children. They enjoy attention, activity, and being part of whatever their people are doing. Like most puppies their age, they are teething and love to chew. Rope toys and durable puppy-safe chews help soothe their gums and keep them appropriately entertained. They have not shown much interest in digging and are generally not especially vocal.  Their adopters should be prepared to continue working on potty training, crate or pen training, leash skills, appropriate chewing, socialization, and all the other lessons that come with raising a young puppy. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, these eager-to-please puppies should make wonderful students.  The Perfect Order  The ideal homes for the Starbucks puppies will provide plenty of affection, playtime, exercise, training, and opportunities to remain closely connected with their people. They would be delighted to join families with children who understand how to interact gently with a growing puppy. No matter your order, this Starbucks menu has something irresistible for every puppy lover. October 17, 2026, 2:26 pm

Whatever their mystery formula is, it's 100% cuteness with a heavy splash of sweetness! Hot Cocoa is 11-12 weeks old and about 15 lbs. She's fostered separately from her siblings and has done really well being a solo pup in her foster home! Cocoa is fostered with two children and is very fond of them. At DPS events, she loves being reunited with her siblings for puppy playtime and can wrestle with the best of them! She's also a toy fiend. Her foster family says that as puppies go, she's got a very balanced energy. She's definitely playful but is also a great snuggle buddy when it's time for a nap! Caramel Macchiato may be the smallest of the Starbucks puppies, but at 11–12 weeks old and 11 lbs, this girl has enough personality to fill the whole coffee shop. She’s adventurous, and loves playing with her much bigger foster brother. She approaches the world with fearless, goofy enthusiasm. Her expressive ears make every little thought look like a big announcement. When she’s ready for a break, Caramel is happy to be carried around. She also loves snuggling and lap time and never misses a chance to eat. She’s a tiny espresso shot with plenty of sugar mixed in.
