Pet Information #A5570225 Paisley is a sweet 8 month old black and white spayed female Alaskan Husky and German Shepherd puppy who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 28 (with #A5570224 Franklin and #A5570226 Alvin). Weighing 47 lbs, Paisley came in with the two other dogs just mentioned,  who may be her family.  In fact, she is a little timid and overwhelmed in the shelter without them. Paisley takes comfort from her handler and tries to walk or sit between their legs for security. Paisley needs all the basic puppy training and we think she would enjoy a group class to learn and build her confidence. She shows strong signs of housebreaking. The shelter is requiring any kids in the home be age 8 or older, we think since younger ones may startle her and not understand her need for proper introductions. He enjoys playing with all dogs and kids. This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was adopted as a puppy, then returned to the rescue she was adopted from where she lived for the last few years. Now that rescue closed and she is here. We believe she is about 5 years old and German Pinscher mix, she knows a few basic commands, loves hikes and especially her toys. We think she would thrive with an active person or family and as an only dog and in an adult only home or home with teenagers. She does need an experienced adopter to help her live her best life. She is unbelievably sweet and loving once she gets to know you but you will need to earn it. We are asking anyone interested in Holly to plan on spending time with her here at our rescue a few times before she is adopted. We are located in Agua Dulce, Ca. We will also be providing free training with our trainer for the right adopter.
