We have gleaned many awesome dogs from near and far, of all ages, sizes and breeds who need homes. And we need to make room in our fosters and at our Adoption Center to get ready for the busy summer season.
Help us move dogs into loving homes!!!!

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!
ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs
KNOWN WITH DOGS: Annie does well with other dogs and takes appropriate breaks from play in order to maintain healthy play energy.
KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information!
KNOWN WITH KIDS: We are not sure how Annie will react with children.
KNOWN COMMANDS: Annie does not currently know any tricks.
KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Annie seems to do okay with being in a crate at the current time. She can bark on occasion when she first gets in the crate but will settle after a few minutes.
KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats, toys, dogs
KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Introducing Annie, the adorable furry friend with a heart of gold! This sweet pup is known for her love of playtime and boundless energy, especially when surrounded by her canine companions. Annie is a social butterfly who knows just how to balance her playfulness with well-deserved rest breaks, ensuring everyone has a paws-itively good time.
While Annie's interactions with cats and children are still a mystery, she approaches each new experience with an open heart and wagging tail. Who knows, she might just charm her way into the hearts of every member of the family!
Although Annie hasn't mastered any tricks yet, she's a quick learner with a willingness to please. With a little patience and lots of treats, she'll be rolling over and shaking paws in no time.
When it comes to her preferences, Annie's list of likes is as long as her tail! Affection, treats, toys, and of course, her beloved doggy pals, all rank high on her list of favorites. And while she may be a fearless adventurer, Annie has one weakness: loud noises. But with a cozy crate to retreat to, she feels safe and secure, ready to snuggle up until the coast is clear.
Annie's journey began at a regional shelter partner before finding her way to Homeward Trails Adoption Center, where she stole the hearts of everyone she met. With her infectious enthusiasm and irresistible charm, Annie is ready to embark on her next adventure - could it be with you?
