Story
Hi my name is Rufus,I am just a young boy who has a zest for life. I was injured when I was really young and I limped when my foster mom rescued me. I had surgery on my hip and I am now recovering from that. I am sure that in a few more months I will walk without a limp and be as good as new.I love to play with the other dogs here both young and old. I am not rough so even the smallest ones are fun to be with. I don’t live with cats so I am not sure what that would be like. I don’t live with kids either but I think I would like to have some young friends to play with. Toys are great, especially the chew type. But sometimes I get toys confused with shoes and my mom doesn’t like that.I sleep in a crate at night and sometimes during the day when my family goes out but I am ok with that because there is always a treat that goes with that.I know how to sit for a treat too. I will need some extra training if you want to teach me some tricks. I haven’t been out walking on a leash yet because of my injury but I am a smart boy so it won’t take me long to learn. If you are looking for a loving, quiet, and sweet boy to add to your family then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Loving life,Rufus. Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Mrs. Potts from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 8 year old female Mini Pinscher - Chihuahua mix.  I am about 3.5 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,195 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     April 28, 2024, 5:50 am
