Story
Hello, my name is Luca and I am about 5 months old with a lot of love to give! I weigh 28 lbs .I am friendly, affectionate, playful, gentle, curious, athletic, and quiet all in one, and I am sure that I will fit in with any family. I am good with other dogs. I am very people-oriented, though, and love to be around my humans. They say I'm funny and that I have a silly side to me, but my seriousness can be endearing too. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side, I'm the one for you! I'm excited to find my forever home and start this new adventure with my future family. Could it be with you? Our dog adoption fee is $110. The adoption fee covers one set of vaccines including rabies, vet exam, neuter, fecal and general dewormer. Story
We're not saying he's a cliché, but if you know Shepherds, you know a lot about Ranger! He is a super smart boy who likes to have a job to do. He'll keep himself occupied if you don't. But if you are a 'shepherd person' looking for a buddy for chores, games, or even sports, Ranger is looking for you. He has received professional training and proven himself to be treat motivated and a fast learner ready to try new things. He's solid on his basic commands and hoping for bigger and better challenges. He also loves squeaky balls. Because he is very selective about dog friends,  it is best he live in an only-pet home. He may get on with other dogs, especially smaller than him, with slow introductions over time.   ~  Est DOB:  Nov 2018 ~  Intake weight:  55#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 1, 2024, 8:55 pm

Story
Meet Layla, a smart and lively girl who is house and crate trained. She understands basic commands such as "sit" and takes treats gently. Layla loves running and playing. While she thrives with larger dogs that can engage in rough play, she gets along well with smaller dogs too. Initially, Layla can be a bit reserved when meeting new people and requires some time to warm up to them. However, once she forms a bond, she becomes like Velcro, sticking close to her favorite person of the day. During walks, she may display uncertainty around people passing by, but she has shown significant improvement by managing to walk by with just a few curious glances. Layla's intelligence is impressive, and she excels at observing and solving obstacles, learning as she goes. She interacts well with adults and older children, although she may be a little too playful for smaller children due to her size If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Delta is a loving and fun Shepherd Mix looking for her furever home. She is very energetic and loves to run and play. She does better with older children and gets along with most dogs. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped with lifetime monitoring, current on heartworm meds and flea meds. She would love an active family to keep her busy. She is up for adventures, hiking and exploring. She does need at least a 6' fenced in yard, so she can't jump over the fence.

Story
This is Stevie Nicks, a German Shepherd/Lab mix of about 1 ½ years. Stevie is a real cuddler who doesn’t realize she’s not a lap dog! (She weighs 45 pounds!) She’s also energetic and happy.  She can become anxious if left alone, though, so it’s best to crate her then.  This really helps her, and she considers the crate her safe place.  Stevie loves “indestructible” stuffies; they last the longest for her. She loves to play fetch with her balls and knows how to sit and give her paw. Stevie walks great on a leash and we have started bike leash training, but that is still very new for her. Stevie is great with children. Stevie is comfortable around other dogs and loves to play once she is appropriately introduced. She has mostly only interacted with other large dogs her size. Stevie currently lives with a cat. She’s not a huge fan but is more frightened of the cat than anything.  (HS    R 2/11/24))  **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption Fee/Transport Fee: $250.00May 6, 2024, 4:29 pm
