Story
Meet Kanga! 🐶💛 Breed: Large Shepard/Mix Personality: Gentle, Cautious, Extremely Loving Kanga may be a big dog, but he has an even bigger heart — once he feels safe. This sweet guy can be fearful around new people and will often bark to let you know he’s unsure. But with slow, respectful introductions, Kanga starts to show his true colors: affectionate, loyal, and irresistibly cuddly. He knows some basic commands like sit, come, down etc. Once you’re part of his circle, Kanga becomes a total lovebug who just wants to be close, soak up attention, and share quiet moments with his trusted humans. He thrives in a calm, patient home where people understand that trust takes time — but it’s worth every second. Kanga would do best with dog-savvy adults in a low-traffic home where he can settle in at his own pace. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you deeply once he knows you, Kanga is ready to meet you — slowly. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX)

Story
Pinky Lou Hi everyone, I am the only one of my siblings with a lighter brindle coat and pointy ears. I love to run free and play. I might be a little skiddish, but once I know you I with give lots of kisses. Oh, and I can sit really well if you put a leash on me. I can almost stand at a standstill, lol. I am still a puppy and learning, but I am good with kids and cats. I also understand when it's time to eat, that I should go to my kennel. If you have a large yard to let me run and time to play with me, then I would love to go home with you. I am waiting.... :) Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi there, I'm Annie. Basically speaking, I am a drop dead gorgeous German Shepherd and I feel I can make that claim because my foster Mom did some dna test called "Embark" on me and they said it too. I like having that because I feel it gives me incredible barking rights. Um, foster Mom says "bragging rights". I stand corrected. Would you like to know more about me? I'll tell you the most important things. Number 1 - I am SWEEEEET. I have to make that word extra long for emphasis. I respond to gentle handling and voices. My hearing is sharp (see my ears?) so I don't like yelled things. Why do hoomans yell at dogs? We can hear things hoomans can't you know. Number 2 - I look like the lion in the Wizard of Oz when I am in a new situation. My legs shake and this is something foster Mom tells me we are working on and won't last forever, so don't hold it against me, ok? I am learning and I am growing every day, she says. By the way, I weigh about 50 lbs. And I will fluff out more for the next year too. Yay! I like fluff. #3 - I want to be with my people. People are my thing! If you need a bed warmer? I can do that! Do you want a couch cuddle buddy? That's me. I'm gonna be your best friend, promise. Foster Mom says I am still basically a bowl of clay that needs to be shaped into a confident adult dog. That sounds messy to me, but you probably know what she's meaning? #4 - I adore water and other nice doggy playmates. Yes, there's a video to prove my love of all things kiddie pool. Watch it. It has loud birds at the end of it - some kind of birdie squabble. I ignored it and played fetch and then played with my favorite red King flying disc to show them I didn't care. Oh yeah..there's cats here too and I don't care about them either. I sniff them and wonder what they are all about. #5 - You may like THIS about me a LOT - I am housetrained and I sleep quietly in my crate at night. OK, so that's me in a nutty shell. You can call my foster Mom with alllll of your questions - she's got answers, but first, fill out the application, please. About Annie: Housebroken & Crate Trained: She has excellent manners and is all set for home life. Playful & Active: Loves fetch, playing with other dogs, and splashing around in the water. One of her favorite toys is a red, Kong flyer disc. Well-behaved: Knows some basic commands. Loving: She has a huge heart and a strong desire to bond with her family. Personality - Sweet, happy, shy in new situations, bonds quickly Her Ideal Home: Annie is looking for a home with patient individuals who have the time to help her build confidence and settle into her new surroundings. A supportive environment is crucial for her to blossom and reach her full potential. She will thrive with someone committed to positive reinforcement and helping her feel secure.

Story
Our story started under a house — yep, just a bunch of tiny bottle babies with no mama in sight. Eight of us! Our amazing foster mamas swooped in to save the day (and gave up all their sleep in the process 😅). Back then, our markings made us look like little Shepherd mixes, but as we grew and more of our personality came out, our mamas got intrigued. So, the DNA tests are in the mail, and we’ll soon find out what kind of adorable breeds we’re made of! Even as teeny-tiny pups, some of us were very opinionated — strong, independent, and determined to do things OUR way. (Think baby divas with bottles instead of tiaras.) But once we hit the gruel stage, it was game on. Now we’re healthy, spoiled, and absolutely thriving! We LOVE attention, snacks, and talking to our humans—especially if dinner’s taking too long. We’re professional explorers, champion wrestlers, and experts at the art of toy keep-away. Basically, we’re a hilarious, lovable bunch of goofballs who promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and just a touch of chaos. The DNA results are in!! 🧬 Turns out we’re a one-of-a-kind mix — 16 different breeds all rolled into one adorable package! Our biggest influences are German Shepherd, Chow Chow, and Dachshund (talk about unique!). Want to see the full breakdown? Check out the complete DNA results on our website! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
