Story
Meet Nick! Nick and his siblings are adorable shepherd/lab mix pups ready to find loving forever homes! Nick is the smallest of the three male pups at 23 pounds currently. They have one female sibling who is even more petite! He is almost 6 months old (born early June), playful and ready for training to be the best dog he can be! Don't let this cutie pie grow up in foster! He needs to get into a home! Nick is up to date on shots, neutered, and micro chipped. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Nick is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

Story
My dogs name is Luca. He is a full blood red main German Shepherd. I acquired him from Kolenda Kennels professional German Shepherd breeders in Dorr, Michigan. Luca comes from a long line of championship, German shepherds from Germany. I have those papers and shots and he is chipped. He came from a litter from Lucy and Finn. Finn is a championship Show dog. Luca is well trained and mannered for a German Shepherd. He is not a barker unless he needs to be pretty quiet dog loves everybody. He currently lives with his buddy Harley, who is a 30 pound man coon cat. He has also lived with other cats so he has cat friendly. My fiancé is completely allergic to him due to her asthma. I hate that I have to get rid of him. I have a lot of resources invested in him. I really need to find a good home for him. I wish I don’t want to have to euthanize him. He is not aggressive dog at all.
