Story
Meet Margot!! Margot is an 8-9 months old Australian Kelpie or Shepherd mix with a sweet disposition. She loves toys and LOVES the water. This girl could swim or splash in a puddle all day. Currently weighs 25lbs, she is expected to be around 35-40lbs fully grown. We know she is a mix due to her smaller size but her demeanor is all Shepherd. She was found at 5 months as a stray, so training was late in her development. She is working hard on potty training. This little girl is very smart and loyal, she will be attached to her person. Hopping in the car, going on walks, laying next to you while you cook dinner- she wants to be with her people. And she loves dogs and kids! Prefers women, but if patient man that can give her a week or so to learn to trust him. Margot is crate trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She also has good recall so she does well off leash too. She has puppy energy and needs at least two walks a day. We think she would do best with another dog but could do fine as an only pet as well. She is best suited for an experienced dog owner. Margot, is healthy, up to date on shots and is spayed. Margot is located in New England and ready as can be to head to her new home! The adoption donation is $400 . If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you!

Story
Meet Nick! Nick and his siblings are adorable shepherd/lab mix pups ready to find loving forever homes! Nick is the smallest of the three male pups at 23 pounds currently. They have one female sibling who is even more petite! He is almost 6 months old (born early June), playful and ready for training to be the best dog he can be! Don't let this cutie pie grow up in foster! He needs to get into a home! Nick is up to date on shots, neutered, and micro chipped. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Nick is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

Story
Hi, my name is Princess Z, but my foster mom calls me Rhea! I am a shy girl at first and can be a little nervous around men. My foster dad is helping me a lot to learn that men aren't scary! Once I come out of my shell, I am such a sweet and goofy girl. I love cuddles, and my favorite places to be are on the couch or outside! I love to chew, so my foster mom gives me elk ears, and I am obsessed! I have a dog and a cat friend in my foster home and I love them both. being around dogs helps me to be more confident! I have been around kids, and they are ok.. but I don't prefer them as they are noisy and loud and don't understand my boundaries. Could you be my forever home? I can be transported for an additional crate fee.

Story
Meet Corky Fostering in Arkansas Here's the link to our adoption application: HTTPS://form.jotform.com/Petmatchmaker/Adopt Corky is the sweetest boy you will meet. He is gentle and loves everyone he meets. He loves to take naps on the couch with his foster mom or out in the sun on the porch. When he is not napping, he is in the yard playing with the 8 other dogs in the house. He gets along with all the different personalities. He has been around kids from 1 year old to 18. His foster family has family dinners periodically that include around 20 people. Corky enjoys getting love from everyone that visits. His favorite is the follow the almost 2-year-old grandchild around the yard. They even have their own conversations, but we don't want to know what they are saying. Corky is house-trained (does have a dog door), crate trained and has pretty good house manners. These guys found themselves in need of a new place to land and we agreed to take them in. Lilibeth has done a wonderful job protecting, teaching and taking care of her sweet little babies. Most of her babies have found their forever homes, now it is her turn. Lilibeth is a very sweet girl that enjoys spending time with her family. She is a great medium size dog at 46 pounds. She follows her foster mom around the house frequently just to see what she is doing. Her favorite place to be is on the couch next to anyone getting love. She adores kids, and will follow them were ever they go. Lilibeth is house trained, crate trained and doing great at all her manners. She is fostering with several other dogs of various sizes and personalities. She seems to do best with the ones that are closer to her size and a little calmer and submissive.
