Story
Buddy is a handsome young German Shepherd with three legs, a big heart, and plenty of personality! Don’t let his tripod status fool you—this boy can move with confidence and loves going for walks. He’s affectionate with the people he knows, takes treats gently, and proudly shows off his “sit” command whenever he can. Buddy walks well on leash when it’s just him and his person, but he can get reactive when other dogs are around. He’s still learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs, so for now, he’s looking for a home where he can be the only pet. A breed- or dog-experienced owner who can continue helping him build confidence would be ideal.

Story
Boo Bear is a calm, easygoing senior who enjoys the simple things—soft beds, gentle walks, and familiar company. He’s affectionate with people he knows, walks nicely on leash, and appears to be housetrained. He gets along with other dogs, including small ones, but can be protective of his toys and space, so slow introductions and supervision are best. Boo Bear is a low-energy “couch potato” who’s looking for a peaceful home where he can relax and feel secure.

Story
Meet Greta – Your Loyal and Loving Companion! (Currently in foster care- call for meet and greet (760) 416-5718) Greta may have the wise and distinguished looks of a senior German Shepherd, but don’t be fooled—this lovely lady has the heart and spirit of a pup! At 11 years young, she still enjoys her playtime and her walks, while also appreciating the quiet moments of life. Greta is a dream in the house—completely non-destructive, no separation anxiety, and she’ll always let you know when it’s time for a potty break. She's a total love and adores affection. She’s also an excellent travel buddy, hopping into the backseat and settling in for the ride like a pro. On walks, Greta does beautifully on leash, though she may get excited when she sees birds, cats, or other dogs. A quick correction, and she’s back to strutting by your side. While she enjoys meeting kids and has been around outdoor cats, Greta prefers to be the only pet in the home—after all, she deserves all the love to herself! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle companion to share your heart and home, Greta is ready to be your perfect match. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves?

Story
Meet Cruz Cruz is a young, spirited Dutch Shepherd Mix who’s ready to be your ultimate adventure buddy! If you’re looking for a dog who’s eager to learn, loves the outdoors, and will keep you smiling through every adventure, Cruz is the one for you. He’s great with other dogs who match his energetic play style—though he tends to do best with female companions—and is affectionate with the people he knows. Highly treat-motivated, Cruz is both smart and eager to please. He’s already mastered his basic cues—sit, stay, down, and go to place—and loves to show off his skills for a tasty reward. This athletic boy thrives on activity and excitement. Lazy days on the couch? Not really his thing! But hand him a ball, and he’ll happily play fetch for hours. With his energy and focus, Cruz would excel in dog sports like Agility or Flyball. Cruz is ready to find an active partner who shares his zest for life and love of adventure. Could that be you?
