I was adopted. Then I ended up back as a stray.It happened again. The second time, I came in wearing a shock collar that was too tight. It had to be cut off. I had open wounds around my neck. Even then, I stayed kind. The shelter staff loved me. They saw who I was under everything. They just didn’t have the resources to help me the way I needed. Then things almost went in the wrong direction again. Plans that weren’t right for me. That’s when people stepped in and said no, not this dog, not again. Now I’m safe. I’m getting the care I need. I’m healing. Here’s what you should know about me. I love people. I’m friendly. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be near you and be part of your life. I’ve done well with other dogs. I’ve lived in a home before. I know what it means to be with someone. And I’m loyal. Deeply. I’m a big dog, so I’ll need someone comfortable with my size. But I’m not difficult. Hi, I’m Tye! I’m a 6-year-old German Shepherd currently in California, and after everything I’ve experienced, I’m ready for the part of my life that’s simply about being loved. I came into rescue needing significant care for my eyes and ears, and my rescue made sure I received the treatment I needed. My eyes still need to be cleaned daily, and I’m incredibly patient and sweet while they’re cared for. My ears are closed from previous surgery, so my hearing isn’t perfect, but I can still hear. Especially my favorite words. What you’ll notice most about me is my personality. I’m friendly, sweet, goofy, and full of love. I enjoy walks, toys, attention, and being around my people. I’ll even give you my paw when I want some extra love, and my trademark grin is pretty hard to resist.  I’ve already made an incredible comeback. Zendaya!!!!!!!! Oh sweet soft loving beautiful Zendaya!!!! Zendaya came to us from Coachella animal shelter where she was picked up as a stray after being shot in the shoulder. This poor Sweet Love Bug had a significant limp for quite a while on the right shoulder. The great news is that with lots of love and Rehabilitation with her foster family Zendaya now enjoys running, playing and romping with her friends on a 5 acre ranch. She is now ready to find her forever home! We are looking for a family who has the time and energy to give her the best life possible. She is very playful as you will see in this video. He comes when he calls and offers many signs that he has a history of good training. Prince is a stunning 2 year old German Shepherd. He indeed is a very, very special soul. After finding himself surviving in the Borrego Desert, he comes to us with the most forgiving and gentle personality you could imagine. Forgiveness really should be his name. So polite, so kind, calm and gentle. He asks permission for every step he takes. Still learning to trust and understand what is expected of him. Prince is proud and beautiful, although shy and reserved at the same time. After spending 2 months with us, we now see his beautiful personality inside. Greeting us with puppy playhouse in the morning and a couple happy spins, he is ready for the day. He gets along well with other dogs but does prefer the company of female dogs more. He is fine as the only dog as well, he really just wants his forever companion. Somebody who is kind and soft in their movements to give him a chance to show himself to you. Prince walks very politely on a leash and comes when we call him. He has been nothing but an absolute pleasure and we are so very happy to be able to start looking for his new forever home.
