Dublin is a remarkable young puppy with a calm confidence and an unmistakable old-soul presence. Having spent his earliest months living outdoors in a rural setting, he carries himself with a quiet steadiness that feels well beyond his age. He is thoughtful, observant, and refreshingly easy to have in the home. Affectionate and people-oriented, Dublin enjoys staying close to his humans, often following along simply to see what you are doing. He is exceptionally intelligent and eager to learn. He mastered his name and recall within hours and is already making strong progress with both potty training and crate training. "Ace" is an approx 60-lb, 2-yo intact male German Shepherd mix who is very sweet, friendly and calm. In the short time I have known Ace he has been friendly with people of all ages. He was good with the young children in a home he stayed at for a night. Ace is good with other dogs, including small dogs. Ace is good with cats, too! He was good around a litter of kittens for a night. Ace is kennel trained and obeys a few commands. He is calm--not destructive, or anxious. Ace was found as a stray in Stockton in Nov 2025, yet he looked clean and was very well mannered--making me believe that a family had recently cared for him. Sadly, after two months no one has come to claim him and he will need to go into the Stockton animal shelter on Jan 15th. It breaks my heart to send Ace to the shelter but I cannot house him and I am presently paying to have him (and another dog) boarded at a kennel in Modesto. I have sought a foster home for Ace without success. I fear he may not make it out of the shelter so am desperately trying to find him a home before Jan 15th. If he does go into the shelter I will continue to help him find a forever home. There is a $50 adoption fee for Ace, which will include the cost of his neutering (which will be mandatory).
