Looking for a loyal best friend with a playful heart? I'm your girl! Hi! I'm Doe. I'm a beautiful German Shepherd with a gentle soul, a goofy side, and so much love to give. Like many shepherds, I can be a little reserved when we first meet. I like to take a minute to check you out. But once I know you're one of the good ones, get ready—my playful personality shines! I love tossing around my favorite stuffed toys, carrying treasures around the house, and breaking into happy zoomies just because life feels good. I'm wonderful with other dogs and enjoy having canine friends. On walks, I'm curious about the world but always polite. I don't bark or lunge when I see other dogs, and I walk beautifully on a front-clip harness (I might pull a little if I'm just wearing a collar). I've even strolled right past goats, horses, cows, and curious ravens without batting an eye. My calm nature makes me a joy to take on adventures, and I may even be able to live with cats with the right introduction. People say I'm incredibly sweet. I lived with children ages 5 and up in my previous foster home and did great! I simply appreciate meeting new people at my own pace. If someone comes on a little too strong, I might take a step back—but give me a little patience, and I'll be nudging you for affection before you know it. I'm also an easy girl to care for. I happily let my people brush me and handle me, and I absolutely love car rides. In fact, I'm just discovering how magical it is to feel the wind blowing through my ears! I'm a smaller German Shepherd at about 73 pounds, though a few extra walks and treats in moderation would help me lose 5–10 pounds and keep me feeling my best. I rescued my 4 year old German Shepherd this year. Valentino has strong protective instincts and is very loving, affectionate and loyal with his person. He's the happiest when he's outside in a huge backyard he can protect while living and seeing only his owner. He can bond closely with one primary person but should not be around other people. I’m looking to see if there is someone with a ranch or large property, who lives a quiet lifestyle and is looking for a property protection companion. I love him deeply but apartment living has been challenging and I want to make sure if I rehome him, I would be able to visit him because he will always have a special place in my heart.

All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once. Damien is a 3-month old black and tan puppy. He came to us from a local shelter. Like all puppies, he is learning to experience the world around him and all it has to offer.Damien is currently working on his house manners. He quickly figured out how to get in and out of the house through the dog door and loves to head back into the cool air conditioned house but is still figuring out that it should also be used for potty breaks. He is also working on crate training and does well to sleep in his crate so long as he knows his human is close by.Damien has been pretty bold in working to finding a playmate. He would love nothing more than a happy and energetic companion to play with him. He is currently learning to take social queues and corrections from the adult dogs in his foster home.
