OJ is a handsome, all black German Shepherd. Despite his size, he's a calm, easygoing guy with a medium-to-low energy level.He enjoys playing fetch but is happiest when lounging around the house. OJ prefers relaxed, easy walks and would thrive in a laid-back home with a low to medium activity level. He is fully house-trained and potty-trained, making him an easy companion.He is highly food-, toy-, and treat-motivated, and is a very mellow dog that would be the perfect road trip buddy. He would do best as a spoiled only pet, where he can soak up all the love and attention.______________________Report on OJ's day out:I had another wonderful day out with OJ! He does so well in the car and is definitely NOT a morning dog, because he tried going back to sleep. We went on an easy walk and saw plenty of small critters and other dogs. A large dog lunged at him and he was completely non-reactive. We also ran into another volunteer, and OJ sat patiently while we chatted. He is such an easy house guest, too. My other dog wasn't happy to be excluded from the party, and OJ didn't mind the meowing behind the door. He is such a chiller and the perfect dog for an outdoorsy family. Whoever ends up with him will be hitting the jackpot.
